US and European arms, intended for Syrian rebels - are ending up in the hands of pro-government forces. Pictures have flooded the internet, showing Shiite militias, fighting alongside President Assad's troops - using Western weaponry. And that's fuelled concerns that Washington is unable to control where its weapons are ending up, as RT's Gayane Chichakyan reports.

We can control the flow of weapons? Yea right.

We can control the flow of weapons to they reach where we intend them to go, or mostly so. Where they go after that is any ones guess. Nature of the world.
Then i fail to see how giving the rebels weapons is at all a good thing.

It is pretty debatable for sure. I think the justification is that most are probably used by the rebels, though some are not surpisinly black marketed or captured. I really don't know enough to form a solid opinion on that.

Ergo the US should stay out of Syria altogether as I have been saying from the beginning.

Does it surprise anyone how inept this administration is?

Which side are we on? Both? Entirely possible. How does the overthrow of this government help us? How do we know who will win? Maybe give them all guns and let them kill each other off has been decided. Not very nice but it is a strategy.

I'm glad to see that this administration is arming the correct side.

Between the Russians arming the government and the Americans arming the rebels and accidentally arming the government, this could turn into a real world-class cluster****.
