The lady sure has cast a spell on the moonbat left
She cast a spell on Republicans too. At this time, she is 13 points down in the polls. Stick a fork in her. She is done. On the other hand, Mike Castle was a sure win.

maybe but turds like him give obama cover. when obama tries some more socialist garbage, he can claim "BiPartisan" support from RINOS like SNowe, Collins and Castle

the best thing that could happen to Obama is a GOP senate with a bunch of losers like Castle-they will pass his garbage and the dems can blame the GOP majority for the certain Screw ups.

I'd rather have a dem we can blame than a cowardly RINO like Castle in office

A moderate, you mean?
Frankly, I think America's getting a little tired of extremists.

Castle was pretty much a standard-issue Republican, not a RINO. Granted he was no Jim DeMint, but you can hardly expect him to be since he's running in Delaware. He was also certainly not an Olympia Snowe. If he looks like a RINO, it's only because the comparison is O'Donnell.

I'm not going to pile on all of O'Donnell's missteps, except to say that I'm positively giddy she was nominated. It's not often that a political party turns a guaranteed victory into a guaranteed defeat, for no reason other than ideological purity...especially when the electable candidate wasn't even all THAT ideologically unpure.

If Republicans will settle for nothing less than a Senate full of Jim DeMints, then the only Republicans that will be elected are from states where people like Jim DeMint are popular. And that's simply not enough to form anything close to a majority. I wish the Senate was more liberal, but I'm a pragmatist. For example, I would never suggest that a Russ Feingold-like candidate mount a primary challenge against Ben Nelson, because I recognize that Ben Nelson is about the most liberal politician that could be elected from Nebraska. Republicans would do well to learn the same lesson.

Well said! :applaud
They're completely alienating the moderate majority with this nonsense; I don't know what they're hoping to accomplish, actually. It looks like political suicide to me.

I don't get it. I looked in the mirror and checked my credit scores. I'm definitely not a suburban white woman.

we are getting tired of people who do what they think will win them elections rather than being consistent and sticking to principles.

and the only reason why people call anti tax advocates "extreme" is because the dems have gone so far left. Barry Goldwater or Reagan would still be mainstream in the GOP, JFk and HHH would not be welcome in the dem party

later folks

So, I guess the new strategy is, act like a completely deranged wingnut during your campaign, and that way people will think your honest and upfront and not "saying what they want to hear merely to win the election"...?

I guess we'll see how that one works out for y'all.

for 20 years mike castle has been if not the most liberal member of the gop caucus, certainly one of just a handful

before entering the house he was governor of the first state until he was term limited, at which point he arranged a corrupt bargain of his own---he assumed thomas carper's at large seat and carper took over in dover

as such, mr castle became the embodiment of elite and entitled establishment insider, the very symbol of what is wrong with american politics

good riddance

the MOVEMENT which stormed mike's castle, while it may cost the gop biden's seat, is precisely what propels the refreshing transformation we are witnessing coast to coast, from florida to alaska

indeed, when it comes to rhinos in general, look at what's going on in those two polar extremes, ie, talk to mr crist and ms murkowski

even castle is extinct

seeya in november, exactly one month from tomorrow

also, look for the new unemployment figure coming out friday

party on!

Why are people still referring to generic polls for elections a month away? They where useless when the election was further out, now they are a complete joke used only by those doing wishful thinking.

Christine O'Donnell is a very pretty woman and I predict that after the election she will become a Fox News contributor. I actually think she wants a job in front of a camera; she went on Bill Maher's often so she would be noticed.
