[h=1]DeJoy Pressured Workers to Donate to G.O.P. Candidates, Former Employees SayDeJoy Pressured Workers to Donate to G.O.P. Candidates, Former Employees Say - The New York Times[/h]Former employees at New Breed Logistics say they were expected to donate to candidates whom their executive, Louis DeJoy, was supporting, and would be rewarded through yearly bonuses.

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, a major donor to President Trump and fund-raiser for the Republican Party, cultivated an environment at his former company that left employees feeling pressured to make donations to Republican candidates, and rewarded them with bonuses for doing so, according to former employees.

The arrangement was described by three former employees at New Breed Logistics, Mr. DeJoy’s former company, who said that workers would receive bonuses if they donated to candidates he supported, and that it was expected that managers would participate. A fourth employee confirmed that managers at the company were routinely solicited to make donations. The four former employees spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of professional retaliation.

If DeJoy is investigated and found guilty of this he will have to resign. It may be that the statute of limitations has run out, it all happened between 2012 and 2014 or 2015.

DeJoy, being a rich man, liked the massive tax cuts the republicans gave the rich.

What is he going to do with all those tens of thousands of dollars he saves per year? Buy a new, fully decked out Mercedes? A yacht?

What will you do with your tax savings?

In North Carolina there is no statute of limitations. The N.Carolina AG has jurisdiction in this case. These allegations, if found to be true are multiple felony campaign finance violations. He also lied to the house committee just last month when he was directly asked this question and replied with a strong no.

In short, if all this is true, it's another Trump inner circle big dollar donor going south with the law. He would never have gotten caught except for two of his ex-employees came forward.
These are NOT anonymous sources.

This guy loved his tax cuts so much, he was willing to break laws to insure the cuts were here to stay.

Another con man going to jail. What's with these people who end up going to work for trump? All I can think is one con man can recognize another and are more than happy to join in on the con thinking they are too smart to be caught.

Corruption at its best.

Trump isn't backing him like he use to...Could be another one of Trump's 'very good people' that will be thrown under the bus like so many people who kissed Trump's ass, but didn't kiss it enough.

Trump: DeJoy should be removed if it 'can be proven that he did something wrong'...

I was raised in the NY area, grew up with news coverage of NY mobsters entering federal courthouse for their trials. One of them stands out because he received so much publicity, the feds just couldn't touch him, 'Teflon Don', John Gotti of course.

I've seen so many interviews with these gangsters, seen enough to be able to recognize them and Louis DeJoy fits the mold of a NY racketeer. The thing that sets them apart from other crooks like the Wall Street white collar types was their attitudes. They were arrogant, chest puffed out, defiant and feeling they were immune to prosecution and untouchable. The old TV show, The Untouchables (dating myself) was really a description of what these men were, untouchable. They paid off everyone from the top down to keep silent.

If anyone watched the hearing, this type of brazen attitude was on full display. He was haughty, defiant and very close to laughing in the faces of those questioning him. That's a man that 100% confident that he's an 'untouchable'. Of course, who could protect a thug like DeJoy any better than the president of the US and the US Attorney General?

Louis DeJoy is nothing more than a common racketeer, just like Trump is. The people these 'good fellas' respect the least are women. These guys have zero respect for either the law or women, in that order. They believe women are a necessary 'thing', created for their pleasure and to do their bidding. I read all of that in Louis DeJoy's demeanor when Congresswoman Katie Porter questioned him. We have a government from the top down that's being run by mobsters and racketeers. Peter Navarro is another one. Don't lose him. On the other hand, yes we need to lose all of them.

Trump said he welcomed the investigation. Trump is already trying to distance himself from this criminal.

Only the best people.
