Well no wonder you're confused, you only highlighted the part of the definition you agreed with.
Yeah I did - it was a correlation/causation fallacy which endlessly invoked "blacks disproportionately affected."
That blacks are most Ferguson residents and are the poorest doesn't equal proof of racial targeting.
It's not uncommon for cities to try make up money by raking in bull**** fines and charging ridiculously for parking or traffic tickets. My city does it.

There you go working on assumption without even bothering to look up what was in the report. That's the problem I see with so many conservatives - they go with their assumptions, but refuse to challenge their assumptions by taking a close and objective look at the other side of the story. You believe what you want to believe...without ever really challenging your belief. And before you think that liberals are the same way, I used to be a strong conservative - I happily voted for Reagan and Bush 41...but I was also watching with real concern the rise of the pundits and Religious Right...both of which became kingmakers among the GOP and conservatism as a whole. American conservatism has generally decided to go with dogma over scientific and historical fact...which made it much easier for y'all to willingly elect (and to continue to heartily support) a guy who wouldn't know honesty if it bit him in the ass.
This was in essence the ruse in Ferguson; using the "legal" system as an extortion racket.
Actually I did look it up which is why I wrote what I did.
Did you read the report on the Michael Brown shooting, how no credible witnesses said the cop was the aggressor, how "hands up don't shoot" didn't happen and how the single person that the claim came from fully recanted his claim?
Going on a long-winded whine of confirmation bias and hurling stereotypes at me isn't a rebuttal of what I said.
You're talking to a former radical leftist; to say I'm "closed-minded" is laughable.
Yeah I get it - you dislike conservatives and religious conservatives and alleged "dogma over science." Who cares? Trying to lump me in with this monolith you hate is not a rebuttal of what I said.
Why not post actual quotes from the Ferguson report that validate your position like an adult would?
The dogma over fact here is when people claim a money-making scheme by a municipality was "racist" because blacks were more affected due to their being most of the population and being poorer. The Ferguson report was a political ploy by Obama's DOJ to off-set the Michael Brown report which fully exonerated Officer Wilson.
You need more evidence than correlation/causation. Do you even know what a correlation equals causation fallacy is? Clearly not, as you would have spotted it already.
By the way, do us all a favor and make your posts easier to read by eliminating the run-on sentences and atrocious grammar and punctuation.
And there's far too many people who think this is somehow a good thing.
That is bizarre. This isn't going to make big waves in the media as most Oklahomans are the wrong color.
