Several times now I have toyed with the idea of becoming a paying participant to this site only to talk myself back out of it because of one thing or another (specifics not important).

So, that got me thinking about what kind of features or changes could be made that I would actually buy into.

One of the things I came up with would be a wager type system where a member could challenge another to a debate (this is DebatePolitics.com isn't it?) and with an agreed to set of rules and an agreed to moderator,... The loser of the debate would have to agree in advance to buy the winner X number of days (membership) in dues.

The problem I immediately see is that we have few if any who are willing to be fair and impartial mods.

So, I think it would be really cool to have those interested (myself included) sign up and essentially have a poll and Q&A thread to allow members to vet the candidates.

Is anyone else interested?
