"In Parts I and II of Mankind: Death by Corporation, we looked briefly at what amounts to ruthless, psychopathic behavior of our largest corporations spanning most major industries. But aided and abetted by "sincere" government officials, corporations are working behind the scenes, rapidly assembling the corporate "Death Star" to be unleashed upon citizens throughout the world, allowing them virtually unchecked control of our food supply, our land, air, water, wallets and our future.

An in-house editorial in the New York Times on July 5, began, "For all its rabid partisanship, Congress has shown time and again that it is willing to come together to deregulate corporate America." This new corporate giveaway is a bill in the Senate sponsored by Democrats and Republicans that would, for all intents and purposes, end the "independence" of independent regulatory agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the National Labor Relations Board. These independent agencies were established to be accountable to Congress - not the White House - with the goal of insulating them from political arm-twisting."

"This bill is just a warm-up act. While the public and the media sleep, the real corporate "Death Star," the TransPacific Partnership (TPP), is being forged in secret. The term "partnership" hardly sounds ominous. But for the last two years TPP negotiations that could have unprecedented consequences to citizens throughout the world have been going on among a dozen Pacific Rim nations. No information has been made available to the press or the public - and only extremely limited access has been allowed to a few members of Congress. But last year a document was leaked to the watchdog group, Public Citizen, revealing the current US position and the reason for the secrecy. The contents are surreal and shocking, and prima facie evidence for how corporations have become the master puppeteers of government.

"The leaked document reveals that the trade agreement would subordinate domestic law and policy to a binding international governance system. Specifically, TPP would (1) severely limit regulation of foreign corporations operating within US boundaries, giving them greater rights than domestic firms, (2) extend incentives for US firms to move investments and jobs to lower-wage countries, (3) establish an alternative legal system, creating "investor states" that give foreign corporations and investors new rights to circumvent US courts and laws, allowing them to sue the US government before foreign tribunals and demand compensation for lost revenue due to US laws they claim undermine their TPP privileges or their investment "expectations."

Is this a realistic of Corporate USA?

Does this make clear why the US Treasury was given to the "too big to fail banks?"

Does this clarify why there are no jobs programs?

Does this render a clue to the NSA information sponge?

If you can keep track of every Internet bit, you can easily track every penny movement for precise control.

When the mega-corps start redistricting out the United States into private territories, I want to be a Costco citizen.

In fairness, the 1940s through the 1970s were somewhat anomalous to begin with. Human society works like chimpanzee society; the largest and best connected ape gets to hoot on the hill while his minions drudge it out in the sun.

That, but imagine that the ape on the hill convinces others to rally around his exploitation. ;)

Yes. That is the point. A small group is reorganizing our way of life without defining the parameters. I'm totally suspicious of anything New World Order.

Does anyone have a written agenda of the New World Order plan? I don't mean the CNAC plan of post Soviet dominance. The references to the New World Order are so ubiquitous that their plan must exist somewhere in a written format.

Does "Globalization" mean Corporate control of trade, politics, boundaries, banking, etc. and is it another definition of New World Order?

There's always the option to go off the grid. :)

There's always the option to go off the grid. :)

I am certain that is the option that Corporate Big Energy and Banking fear the most. Germany is closing fossil fuel plants because of the success of its solar renewable energy programs. The roadblock to renewables is the status quo of Big Money preventing local initiatives that undermine Centralized Distribution of Energy. It is, after all economic considerations, the "cash cow" that has allowed them to thrive. They don't want to kill their golden goose, even if it kills the planet.

I had family that lived in West Virginia off the grid in the 60's. They lived off the land, worked their own crops, pumped their own water. They were almost completely self sufficient. Sugar, coffee, flour... these staples came from the store. It wasn't an easy life but I enjoyed spending time with them and working with them and enjoying their lifestyle when I got a chance to do it.

Is living off the grid really a viable option for anyone on the Internet?

You could just move into the woods and fend for yourself. Then no one will be able to exploit you. "Exploitation" is minimized when we are all poor and starving. I suppose thats the sort of society you would like for us to return to?

Thank You! That gave me a really good laugh!

I use a telephone link. 56k modem. Works OK. However, anything that can be powered on the grid can be powered off the grid, but it requires good planning and knowledge of one's energy uses.

Great! A good laugh is a wonderful thing. You remind me of the laughing executioners of the circular firing squad.

Some people consider the Internet to be part of the grid, others sewer systems.

They both run side by side, one leaking into the other..

And who has dreamed up this "new world order" ?
I honestly believe it is the "globalization" dream of David Rockefeller although I have no documentation to back that up. It is the details that I would like to read about. It is discussed as New World Order so frequently that you know there is a documented agenda somewhere. It might just mean a world run by the CIA.

Damn, I thought this was going to be about how the US had finally made a moon-sized space station that was capable of destroying an entire planet. The technological advances made by such a thing would be invaluable.

Food for thought. Corporate and Political agendas operating as one. A bit of what we are actually discussing.

What The US & Russia Are Really Quarreling Over: Pipelines

"Creating a “gas OPEC”

Illustrating this elephant in the room is the fact that when, on July 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin first addressed whether he would grant Snowden asylum, he did so at the annual meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow, which unfolded July 1-2.

“If he wants to stay here, there is one condition: he must stop his work aimed at harming our American partners, as strange as that sounds coming from my lips,” Putin stated at GECF’s annual summit.

Paralleling the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) — The New York Times calls it a “gas OPEC” — GECF is a bloc of countries whose mission is to fend off U.S. and Western power dominance of the global gas trade. The 13 member countries include Russia, Iran, Bolivia, Venezuela, Libya, Algeria and several others.

GECF has held informal meetings since 2001, becoming an official chartered organization in 2008 and dominated in the main by Russia. GECF Secretary General Leonid Bokhanovskiy is also the former VP of Stroytransgaz, a subsidiary of Russian oil and gas giant Gazprom.

Depicting the close proximity between Putin’s regime and GECF’s leadership is the fact that Gennady Timchenko – a member of “Putin’s inner circle,” according to The Bureau of Investigative Journalism – owns an 80-percent stake in Stroytransgaz.

A 21st-century “gas Cold War” has arisen between the U.S. and Russia, with Edward Snowden serving as the illustrative protagonist. President Obama, upset over Russia’s asylum offer to Snowden, recently cancelled a summit with President Putin.

With access to the free flow of oil and gas resources a central tenet of U.S. national security policy under the Carter Doctrine, there’s no guarantee this new Cold War will end well."

"Contextualizing the recent big Azerbaijan junket

One of the recommendations the Senate Foreign Relations Committee report offers in its report is maintaining closer ties with SOCAR — the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic — “to minimize future miscommunications.”

This lends an explanation as to why many former Obama upper-level staffers, along with Stratfor founder George Friedman, state politicians from across the U.S., Vice President Joe Biden’s wife Jill and former World Bank head and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz all attended a key gathering in Azerbaijan in late May, officially titled, “USA-Azerbaijan: Vision for the Future.”

Ted Poe, who weeks after returning from the event wrote the Houston Chronicle op-ed praising fracked gas exports, was also among the attendees.

SOCAR sponsored the event. So too did BP, KBR, ConocoPhillips, and Chevron, all companies deeply invested in fracking in the U.S.

“No doubt this was among the biggest concentrations of American political star power ever seen in the Caucasus — 317 delegates from 42 states, including 11 sitting members of Congress and 75 state representatives,” a Washington Diplomat reporter who got inside the conference explained of the nature of the event."

I don't see much action on this subject, curious myself why a president is never questioned about trade deals anymore. Nafta was given a lot of press but went through anyway, proving that neither party really cares what the voters want. Anyway, here is a link I looked at concerning the TPP and other internationalist type deals, nicknamed Nafta on steroids. Am I concerned over something that is really nothing to worry about, then why the secrecy?

To me it just shows that the skids are being greased for a NWO Corporate takeover at every level. That would be a Western Central Banks takeover. World management by Corporate and what's good for Corporations is generally bad for humans.
