Deadlocked board in key Michigan county fails to certify vote totals by deadline
"DETROIT — Democrats and voting rights advocates expressed outrage Tuesday after the Wayne County Board of Canvassers deadlocked on whether to certify its ballot count, punting the question of who won the state's most densely populated region to a state regulatory board that meets Nov. 23."

The people who (falsely) claim that Biden is trying to steal the election are stealing the election in broad daylight -- literally trying to neglect hundreds of thousands of votes.

This is not democracy at work, but how authoritarians enact a coup.

One of the people involved in subverting the will of the people:

What a joke! I mean, Biden's way ahead, and 2 republicans won't certify the results because they don't like the result in Detroit, which happens to be mostly black?

Anyway, methinks this will be a minor delay. See below:

In an unprecedented move, the Detroit-based Wayne County Board of Canvassers deadlocked along partisan lines on a critical vote Tuesday and was unable to certify the county's presidential results before the deadline.

The two Democrats on the panel voted to certify the results, while the two Republicans voted against it.
President-elect Joe Biden won Michigan by more than 148,000 votes, a win made possible by a strong showing in Wayne County. If those votes aren't eventually certified, it could jeopardize Biden's claim to Michigan's electoral votes. President Donald Trump has mounted a longshot attempt to overturn the election results through lawsuits and with the Electoral College, though GOP lawmakers in Michigan have said they'll respect the statewide popular vote.
Biden won 587,074 votes in Wayne County, compared to Trump's 264,149.

Michigan's Secretary Of State weighs in ( it will be kicked up the food chain and handled there ).

So when the GOP's coup attempt fails, are there repercussions? Or does everyone carry on like nothing happened?

These are appointed positions... The Wayne County Board of Commissioners can remove them....

Sounds like too much voter fraud goin on?

Do not trust GOP legislatures to appoint Biden electors in the states of MI, WI, PA, GA, and AZ.

Why should they? They are corrupt.

Again, the extent to which Republicans were emotionally unprepared for the possibility of a trump loss is mind boggling.

Everybody else grasps that in a free fair election, their preferred candidate may lose. It's the nature of the beast. But Republicans did not see this outcome happening for them and still believe they shouldn't have to suffer the indignity of electoral defeats.

We've got to get these psychos out of government.

Well that boat has sort of sailed, though people can still volunteer and help Democrats in the Ga runoffs. It won't fix everything, but it'll fix a lot.

One of those commissioners is racist as hell. Example:

If there was ever a reason to dump the EC, we are definitely seeing it - with possibly the best yet to come!

I was going to post the same tweet, we must go to the same place....

"Best," as in, "This is the best pile of dead babies I've ever seen!"
