I am sure there are numbers somewhere, but doesn't Japan lead the world in numbers of suicides, followed by overcast, cloudy and cold Scandinavian countries?

The stats I was looking at state that in the United States the suicide rate is 10.1 per 100,000. In Japan for the same year it was 19.1 per 100k.

Yet you make no attempt to show which gun laws would actually be Constitutional, effective, enforceable or would be enforced. You try to tell two different stories: First you include suicides in your list of gun deaths, claiming more gun laws reduce suicides, and then point at Japan as an example to emulate ignoring that even with almost no guns that their suicide rate still exceeds the suicide and homicide rate of the US.

And no, we DONT have to have as many cars and use them as much. Many in cities do without. All of Europe drives much less. It's a lifestyle choice that ANY American can make if they are as concerned about dying in vehicles as they are from guns.
