Trump is a public health risk, a national security threat, and now a domestic terrorist threat.

“You’ve got to get your governor to open up your state,” he said to cheers. “And get your schools open.”

Trump’s supporters erupted into chants of “lock her up” — a refrain from the 2016 campaign originally lobbed at Hillary Clinton, but since repurposed against Whitmer and other high-profile Democrats — which Trump did little to dissuade.

“Lock ‘em all up,” he said before pausing to soak up energy in the crowd.

The striking visual quickly came to Whitmer’s attention, who responded while the president was still speaking.

“This is exactly the rhetoric that has put me, my family, and other government officials’ lives in danger while we try to save the lives of our fellow Americans,” she tweeted. “It needs to stop.”

The election can't come soon enough.

These same right wing wack-jobs, inspired by Trump threatened to kill the mayor of Wichita because of a local mask mandate.

Far right terrorism is a global threat to the political system. There for example 77 people was murdered during the terrorist attack in Norway most of them kids attending a left wing sumer camp.

There this risk leading to that less ordinary and decent people want to publicly voice their opinions and participate in the political process. So it can lead to a more elitist political system, something both Trump and his supporters claim to be against.

So it's so sad and also worrisome that the president of the United States fuels those groups with his rhetoric instead of strongly condemn those groups.

It's getting closer to needing to treat far-right terrorism like ISIL. Imagine if the US right-wing terrorists started launching terrorist attacks in other countries, also, or targeting foreigners.
