Because Darfur has no military nor economic relevance to the rest of the world. If Darfur has say..... oil? I think in no time flat those Al Qaeda terrorists would be there and we'd have no choice but to invade the country and overthrow thier brutal dictator.

From the looks of the website you provided, it appears plenty of people care.
Let me familiarze you with the phrase "actions speak louder then words".
Oh it's a shame that so many people are dieing. Have you or anyone else done anything? ie military assistance?

I've sent what I could to the red cross (each year)
I'm thinking about doing a stint with Doctors Without Borders, My wifes friend works with them.

Would also give me a chance to see some old friends in Senegal.

No WMD's.
No, wait, the thing is they haven't ignored UN resolutions.
What I really mean is, no terrible dictator.
Actually, what I mean is democracy isn't needed there. Yeah, that's the ticket.

You forgot the most critical element. Ties with Al Qaeda.
Or Al Qaeda recruitment/traning facilities.

It's ok, we all make mistakes now and then.

Darfur has no econonic relevancy so therefore no relevancy at all, in the eyes of the world.

These are what I can't stand about world governments. They are evil beyond description.

Please go to www.savedarfur.org Thinks like this really make me sick.

People care it's just that the U.N. is corrupt and is run by despots and tyrants. The only government to officially acknowledge that what is going on in the Sudan is in fact genocide is the United States. Collin Powell went to the U.N. and demanded that they send in peace keeping forces to stop the genocide. The U.N. refuses to acknowledge it as genocide because then they would be bound to action. Rather than acknowledging the genocide they instead placed the Sudan on the Human Rights Commission in order to obsolve them from investigation and intervention. The U.N. is now dominated by the very same corrupt institutions which it was intended to eliminate.
