Danger of US BMD System’s Expansion into Europe

There is no secret that some European top officials (for instance, the Polish Defense Minister, Sikorski and his colleagues from Hungary, Czechia and Bulgaria) consider US anti-missile defense system’s elements, which the Pentagon plans to deploy on the territory of their countries, are capable to protect them from separate missile launches of such unpredictable states as Iran and North Korea. Moreover, governments of these European countries express optimism on the possibility of using great US defense arsenal for re-equipping their national armed forces, because they hope Americans will additionally deliver US sophisticated systems of weapons (such as Patriot Advanced Capability-3 interceptor missiles) to those states that will allow to build anti-missiles silos and deploy early-warning radars on their territory. Of course, local authorities trust to employment of large US investments into development of such objects’ infrastructure, as well as, our European industrial corporations rely on gaining access to US improved technologies.
But their expectations are phantasmal, because Washington has never talked about creation any infrastructure for joint work on the territory of US military objects, located in Europe. America always speaks only about deployment of its armaments on the territory of some Eastern European countries. And US military industrial complex does not need any help from European corporate sector at all. Thus, those countries that are ready to give US military a right of using their territory for deployment of some elements from US anti-missile defense system won’t have any benefits with relation to US large investments or improved technologies. On the contrary, our leaders and the public should know that deployment of large-scale US anti-missile shield in Europe threatens to our security, because any rules of war provide for delivery of a first strike not at deep echelons of defense (USA), but at frontline defense systems (namely, US bases in Europe)! I think it’s unlikely that citizens of European states, listed above, need this for a safer life!
They’ve made us hostages without asking us even!

This is an interesting thought. I am against these plans because of the illusions American governments could have about how invulnerable they will be and this could lead them to make more stupid decisions. But there is not only a global risk, there is a regional one, too. I expected it to be off the table with new Czech government for a while, but maybe I was to optimistic about this one.

1 idiot.

You honestly think the type of people that would fire nuclear missiles at you are going to consider "the rules of war"?

Your argument is that you shouldn't defend yourselves because might get attacked. Good logic.
