Hey Cardinal, don't let haymarket see this. He gets heartburn over polls that cite "likely voters". Something about only polling PART of the population.

In any case, that 538 "aggregate" is based on 5 polls...3 of which are YouGov online polls. I wouldn't put much stock in that aggregate.

Now that the shutdown is in the rearview mirror, we should see tRump's approval ratings return to their norm of the low 40s and disapproval to the low 50s.

Until he shuts down the government again. Which could well happen if McConnell yet again blocks any deal.

44.6% is the final resting point for all time. No matter what happens, his approval will always return to 44.6%.
