Just got home from playing at the July 4th celebration at The Spot, on the Seawall in Galveston, and a crazy night it was. My gig was with Curtis King, but getting to the stage to play was nearly impossible. There were more than 50,000 people at the Seawall for the fireworks display and parade, before we went on, and it took me more than an hour, with help from several others to secure a parking spot so I could unload my equipment and set up. Once we started playing, everything was fun. Curtis King is known for his own brand of Chicago style blues, but tonight we did some other stuff too. Everybody went nuts when we did Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix. :)

Happy 4th..... Oops, I mean 5th of July, folks. LOL.
