Of course Rand "small government" Paul thinks a solution is creating three separate new institutes.

So when those three new separate institutes have their own "Fauci" during the next global pandemic and make unpopular statements, will Rand's next brilliant solution be to break up those three institutes and create six new separate institutes. Until of course, the "new Faucis" say what he wants to hear.

Right on! Rand Paul was right, and Fauci was wrong.

Liberal swarm 5-4-3-2-1-...
whats a health dictator in chief? who holds that position?

also reading this right here:
I will introduce an amendment to eliminate director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and divide that power into three separate new institutes.
Each of these three institutes will be led by a director who is appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate for a five-year term. This will create accountability and oversight into a taxpayer-funded position that has largely abused its power and has been responsible for many failures and misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic. No one person should have the sole authority to dictate science, especially when that one person wasn’t ever following the science. I’ve said that from the beginning, and I’ve been proven right over, and over, and over again. On masks, lockdowns, schools, natural immunity, all of it.

no thanks

you because none of that is reality, that will just make it political instead of science-based and the fact is no one person has the power they are talking about right now, its all a lie as usual LMAO
I love how much this triggers some of the nutters but NOBODY honest, educated and objective will fall for it . . only batshit insane triggered nutters
😂🍿

Then we will see calls for a health czar to coordinate all the agencies.

It better be a psychic who can see into the future how the science of a new virus will evolve before making any public recommendations. They must also be willing to seriously look into the brilliant suggestions on random fixes like injecting disinfectants.

The deaths WITH Covid were all tragedies.

The damages caused by the ill conceived, politically motivated, get Trump out of office mandates and shut downs were worse.

As the lead propagandist in the sham, Fauci is culpable in the failure of every business, the interruption of every education, the death of every suicide victim or drug overdose and the closure of the whole economy.

We were all victims of the petty tyrants willing to ruin everything for a momentary profit or power grab.

Trump was right. AGAIN.

Yep, creating three new (cabinet level?) POTUS appointed (Senate confirmed?) super bureaucrats is unlikely to be any improvement. How that could be said to increase “oversight” was never explained - it’s still a 100% executive branch ‘committee’ making public policy decisions (suggestions?).

Given the performances the present governmental structure delivered, which is to say rather poor and inconsistent, and at times counter to the known science, as well as ineffective and inefficient data collection, more so the accurate and timely analysis of that data, certainly some restructuring and improvements need to be made, especially considering that it is likely that other pandemic type events are going to recur in the future.

Does this dipshit know that pretty much all of the lockdowns were done at the state level, a libertarian's wet dream? What lockdowns did Fauci impose on anyone?

Fauci never had any goddamn legal ****ing powers. "Health dictator in chief?" Rand Paul is almost never right about anything.

The vast majority of lockdown implementations were done at the state and local level, and even in the strictest parts of the country it didn't last for that long.

Righties are just mad that someone in their lives said "hey let's get together and take the most minimal of measures to sacrifice for our fellow Americans" and half of y'all moaned and bitched like children.

Deaths FROM COVID are near a million in the US millions world wide.

And the majority of those in the US were unvaxxed.

Righties can't even take advice, let alone directions, from an expert without throwing a temper tantrum.

They watch Idiocracy and think, "Hey, that's a good idea! Let's do that!"

Weird I thought this was a debate forum where liberals are allowed to post. Is it a right wing echo chamber where you personally demand nobody disagree with you? Perhaps disagreement hurts your feelings?
