We're now at roughly the 6 month point since the first appearance of Covid-19 as a deadly factor in US life. The first actual recorded death occurred in the last week of February, 2020. One of the names given to the virus was the 'novel' virus.

Today, the death count stands at almost 200,000 and the rate of deaths is approximately 6,500 a week. A mask-less America seems years in the past. Data indicates that about 2% of the American population have been infected. We can reasonable expect that what lies ahead in the next few months will not be significantly different from the past month. There may be an increase in the number of deaths/week from Labor Day gatherings, but that's a couple of weeks away.

Regards, stay safe 'n well. Remember the Big 3: masks, hand washing and physical distancing.
