Ann Coulter was asked by Alan Colmes if she thought Dennis Hasert should step down from his position as House Speaker. Ann brilliantly quipped: 'I find it interesting that the Democrats fought tooth and nail to protect the rights of Al Quieda prisoner terrorists, yet find it equally if not of greater importance to convict a man for supporting an American gay man'. I guess this puts the meaning of 'torture' into a whole nuther light. LOL!

I had high hopes that she would run for Foley's seat. It would be a perfect ending!

Well that's all well and good but Democrats fought tooth and nail to protect Human rights. Terrorists just happen to be humans like you and me which is unfortunate. If you want to go on believing the lie that Democrats support terrorsits go ahead it's your right but just know how it makes you look.

As far as Hastert he's not just supporting an American, supposedly gay, man he's supporting a potential peodophile. I'm sure Ann Coulter, and many here, would be calling for Foley's imprisonment and execution if he were a Democrat. Either way it's just fodder for partisan drivel.

Funny to see you and Coulter, who hold youselves out as morally superior to liberals and Democrats, defending a man who apparently practiced predatory tactics on underage boys.

Funny, but not surprising.

I wouldnt expect any surprises from a person whos signature suggests that liberals are incapable of loving themselves, life, god, America or the troops.

What's Studds and Frnak?

I know I can be partisan, does this have something to do with that?

I am trying to get away from being partisan though.

this is a stupid claim about Foley-some one who is attracted to post puberty males-be they 16 or 18 are not pedophiles. They are no more likely to be pedophiles than gay males who are attracted to 20 year old males or 30 year old males.

?? WHAAAAAAAAAAA? Here's the wikipedia deffinition:

to denote significantly older adults who are sexually attracted to adolescents below the local age of consent,[1] as well as those who have sexually abused a child.

How do you even make these claims with a straight face??

Generally people are considered to be children until they turn 18, in the U.S. anyway. Or if you prefer until they're of the age of 'legal consent' to participate in sexual activity, which is usually around 16 in most states. However there is an important stipulation regarding 'legal consent' that must be observed; while a 16 year old may be 'of age' to decide that he/she wants to have sex their partner must not be older than 18. If a 16 year old sleeps with a 19 year old it could be considered statutory rape.

Because I am using the accepted medical definition not the wikipedia which has no legal authority.

Let's say the age of consent is 18. Now don't lie, -tell me the difference in terms of attractiveness of a "hot" 17 year old female and an 18 year old"? IF you are attracted to one, you are probably going to be attracted to the other. THERE IS NO PSYCHOLOGICAL DIFFERENCE. PHYSICALLY the are exactly the same-the only difference is a legal one that has no relevance to how a person feels or arousal level (Only in terms of actions due to legal ramifications)

If you are attracted to a PRE-PUBERTY female that is a completely different set of WIRING in your mind.

see the difference-and yes I can say it with a straight face because psychologists who deal in sex crimes will back me up on this.

The difference in wiring between people attracted to a 17 year old or a 12 year old or a 25 year old is in acting on the attraction or not. Sure I've seen physically attractive teenagers but to me they're little girls, not women.

Wrong. Coulter was defending Hastert, not Foley. Hastert is not accused of predatory tactics on anyone. But nice attempt at rewriting history.

Somehow I think it was an honest mistake. Your use of the term "rewriting history" seems a bit hysterical.
