OK, we've got Democrats fighting hard to impeach Trump in order to bar him from ever holding office again (not likely to happen). If that doesn't work they are also looking at censuring Trump.

I find it hard to believe Trump could ever win again, but baring him from running is more about simply not subjecting this country to that garbage again, and making it clear in no uncertain terms that his behavior and the behavior of his lunatic base is not now nor will it ever be acceptable. If you are not willing to respect the will of the American people then you do not get to run for office in the first place.
If you are not willing to follow our nation's laws then you do not get to be in a position to radically alter them.

He might win the Wing Nut primary, but he'll never win over the Independents and Moderates again. So, no. He won't be president again.

Trump just running would be bad for America, though.

The longer it takes for Trump to run for office, the worse his chances of winning get.
He has his best chance of winning office today. Tomorrow, his chances will get a little worse.

I think it is the responsibility of every American to do what they can to insure authoritarian rule never returns to our office of the President. Four years of trump ripped this country apart. We simply cannot allow another trump to ascend to power.
 
If by some chance Biden serves his full term and Mrs. Emhoff runs in 2024 I think Trump wins.

If the Republican party is wise, they'll do the right thing and reintroduce superdelegates. Right now, at least half of their base, and maybe a lot more, cannot be trusted to show good judgment when it comes to electing anything more powerful than student government associations.

Democrats are doing this to force Republicans to go on record for or against Trump. They will use this for the 2022 midterms. The know full well this won't stop a 2024 run. They actually want Trump to win because they like the GOP crazy. Thats how they won in 2020.

Trump definitely has the potential to win enough election, assuming that democrats fight him as weakly as they did the last time, and/or that he has stronger support of his own.

But that's not why we need to ban him from ever holding office again.

The reason we need to do that, is because of what he did already.

We've been lacking equality of consequences for bad actors for too damned long.

And Trump is the bad actor religious icon.
 
It's possible if he nurtures the cult long enough and the incumbent alienates enough people, but it's doubtful. For that reason alone barring him from office would be desirable. However since the senate is unlikely to convict the bigger reason for impeachment would be to expose his crimes for posterity (and mark those who support him in congress for a midterm challenge) in order to ensure they don't happen again.

GOP will not parade put this shit show again for public viewing. For your sake your best bet to revive this party would be for Trump to be convicted for multiple crimes and put in jail. Then and only then will your party wake the fick up.

You gotta love the loaded questions and partisan slant of the question. None too subtle.

First off, the Dems are wasting their time on impeachment, everyone by knows what Trump is, and passed judgement on him last Nov.

Secondly, Trump is facing all kinds of legal peril for past financial crimes, so let the different jurisdictions like NY do their stuff.

SO, no, Trump can't win again.
