Odd to note the complete disproportion in response.

- A single instance where a few hundred, perhaps (accurate count unknown to me at this time) have the bad judgement to breach the Capital security barrier and cause $100,000 damage, and being condemned by everyone.
Causing some 25,000 national troops to occupy the Capital.
Were the 25,000 national troops called out because the capital rioters weren't of the 'correct' or 'acceptable' political affiliation? Doh! Of course that number of troops were called out.
Why weren't the national guard called in to those Democrat cities after they've suffered a total of billions of dollars damage?
And in fact they still aren't as the reports from Seattle and Portland show.
The Democrats and their leftist allies have inflicted the Venezuela trajectory on the US over the last 2 or more years, clearly. The Democrats have made a faustian bargain with their extremist leftist allies to win the election (the rioters as well the Big Tech and the media), and are now looking for ways to get out of that bargain, but it isn't going to be easy on them. The rest of peaceful Americans are going to have to suffer their very bad choice of allies.
Further, that the sumer long riots, which were far more destructive, far more corrosive on civilized society aren't called out, where the Democrats are likening the Capitol rioters to every smear imaginable and completely out of proportions, should tell you something. As should the calling out of that many national troops to the capital should.
Only riots Democrat agree with are acceptable and tolerable. When the right does fraction of the same, it is slammed down with overwhelming national troop numbers.
How long before the political right's Constitutional right to assembly will suffer the same?
How long before the political right's Constitutional right to freedom of speech will suffer the same? (Under assault by publishers and Big Tech already underway).
Very dark times ahead for nation for the next numbers of years as the Democrats have all the levers of power in DC, that's for sure. Nothing good for the nation and the Republic will become of it, that is assured.
