They are for fighting against a wall, encouraging Caravans, getting rid of ICE, have sanctuary cities, a sanctuary state, allow illegals to get driver's licenses, allow them to vote in local elections, and give illegals free healthcare up to and including both California and New York City now wanting to do single payer healthcare and specifically allowing it to cover illegals. Now please explain to me how Democrats are not for open borders. Everything they stand for encourages illegal immigration.

Perhaps Trump should have approached this job a little more seriously, and a little more willing to work with people. I know you love the guy, but your Constitution gives powers to government to do exactly what they're doing - legally stopping a runaway train to Nightmare town. :shrug:

Next time listen when people say hire anyone but the asshole. You might actually get something out of the next 4 years. Other than having the POTUS exposed by a porn star for having a Mario Kart mushroom ****. And 800,000 people out of work in the dead of winter.

You have a car who's engine won't start.

One mechanic says they'll sing to it for $5000, and it'll work again.

The other mechanic says they'll put on monster truck tires for $5000, and it'll work again.

Negotiationing doesn't always mean giving in. You stand firm on what's important to you and then negotiate what the other person/company is willing to negotiate.

And sometimes neither party is willing to budge. That's okay too. Our founders specifically designed this system so we would have to argue. They didn't want a king or one person dictating laws.

In this case Pelosi has all the power because Trump manufactured a crisis and stopped governmental services and employee pay to fix the "sudden" emergency.

Trump is really bad at negotiating. He's being schooled by politicians (who, ironically, are way less corrupt than he is).

Let me show you who is actually dismissing the safety of the American people. It is Trump.

He created this government shut down that has TDS agents and Air Traffic Controllers not being paid. TDS agents are who check people at airports to see that they are not terrorists and Air Traffic Controllers are the ones that handle air traffic. With them not being paid, they may not show up to work or worse, do a bad job at work, and that means that Terrorists can now enter the United States and our flights could crash, not to mention the fact that already many terminals have been closed, many flights canceled and soon there may not be any traveling by air being done.

All of this has been caused by Trump government shut down. Talk about not caring about the safety of the American people, Trump does not give a hoot about it and it is being proved every day he allows the shutdown to continue.

Pelosi agreeing to a border wall will not solve any problems at this time because building of a border wall would take years. Trump keeping the government shut down can cause problems tomorrow, next week, and next month. Trump is weakening all by himself our security and you have the audacity to blame Pelosi for not giving in with a gun pointed at her head.

Trump has not budged at all. First of all, the legal status of the Dreamers is now going through the courts and they are winning, meaning that Trump is not offering anything that they won't get through the courts themselves. In addition, Trump was the one that took the Dreamers status away. It is like saying, I stole your ball but I will let you play with it for a short period of time if you pay me. This is not compromise, it is extortion. Last but not least, Trump has changed his mind on things he has said in the past that to depend on him doing what he says is pure stupidity.

Pelosi has negotiated in the past but at some point negotiating with someone that is trying to scam at every turn becomes a self-defeating event. Trump needs to show some true good will and release the innocents he is holding hostage before any new negotiating takes place.
