Corrupt Politicians

this house believes that politicians found guilty of corruption should not be allowed to seek political office once they have served their punishment?
what do you think? we need to get rid of the corrupt people in this world

I do think that those proven to be corrupt should be banned from seeking elected political office again.

If I run for office and my vote can be purchased by the highest bidder then I am working more for the companies then I am for the individuals that voted for me.
 
But that is how it is across the board. Special Interest Group delegates practically dictate laws and policy to Representatives IN closed meetings. They have pre-written bills that they hand to politicians and they say "sign this" and if they don't sign, the Sp. Interest groups go to party leaders and tell them to get that guy in line. It happens all of the time with just about everysingle politician.
 
But when something is corrupt it is usually hidden from people so how would you know if they are corrupt or not?
I think that people are losing what people used to think were morals. I saw the movie 300 and I thought that it was funny how people so long ago were smarter in some cases of my view that they kept thier morals over all.
 
I think corruption ought to be punishable by a very large caliber bullet in the gut, and then leave them on the street to be eaten by dogs. It ought to apply to the politician and the special interest that subborned them. The consequences of corruption these days involve so much needless death, and it is so widespread, that only such a radical punishment will stop it. And it has to be stopped.

I guess the only way that we would get results would be if America as a union threatened to do something to all the senetors and goverment officials to change.... or we all move to Canada.

Do you know about District Seats and Embedded Politicians?

What they do does nothing to harm them since the People have little recourse... ;)
