(0:03 - :18) This guy films videos of boats entering and exiting the brutal currents of "Haulover inlet" in Miami FL. Many accidents and sinkings occur here each year, due to the severity of the current. At the very beginning of this video, he captures a clip of a "Midnight Express" sport boat, which is painted in an unusual satin metallic green, which also covers the 5(yes, FIVE) outboard motors, of 400 horsepower apiece(2,000hp)! When we go offshore out of Darian, Ga, we go out past the south end of Sapelo Island. While the surf isn't huge, it comes from all directions and one after the other. We call it the "washing machine". You look out ahead of you and that is what it looks like. In our 22 ft deep vee, you don't quite feel in danger, but everyone has that "face" on. And on several occasions, someone has almost gone over the side when the boat suddenly shifted several feet to one side. You can't always leave the ramp on the right tide.
