This is for those who are definitely going...or at least definitely planning on going! I understand stuff happens and if your sister's husband's cousin gives birth, I won't hunt you down if you had signed up to go. I'm just trying to get a list together of people that will be there.

That said, I bought (okay, okay, cashed in a free flight voucher) my flight ticket. I'm going to be there 7/27-7/31 if anyone wants to extend their trip a little and hang out longer. I didn't want to fly out there for two days.

Me, my wife, and my son. :)

Barring unforseen circumstances (i.e. I actually get a job and can't get those days off), I'll be there....hubby may or may not be there, depends on his schedule. But other than that, seeing as how I live here and all, no reason I can think of as to why I shouldn't be there.

Sure, I'll check it out.

We know you will bring "buds" - regardless if friends tag along.

Your Master is planning on attending the event.

Yes, my master, it is important that you make an appearance. Be sure to wear your robes and finest garments as you make your way into the building on a luxorious red carpet, surrounded by your hot female servants, fitting only for a magnificent ruler such as yourself.

Yeah, we'd be meeting up in a certain spot. If we can get enough people to come, we'll be having a picnic in the Pavilion area...but we'd all be pretty much meeting at the front entrance so everyone can get their tickets 'cause I'll have to order them in advance, and I'll probably be picking up some folks from the hotel anyway (I live about 15 minutes from the park).

Yes indeed... The President of the United States surely will attend won't he?

If we have at least 15 folks, prices are as follows (and I don't know if my husband and I will count in this total, as we have season passes; I'll have to check on that):

Adult (ages 7-54) - $31.99
Child/Senior(ages 3-6/55+) - $28.99

If the group is smaller than 15, it could go a couple of different ways....if everyone wanted to purchase their own tickets individually when we get to the park, they're $49.99, regardless of age (I think...they don't have an option for children/seniors other than their internet specials). However, if anyone wanted to send me their money in advance, I could purchase them online and it would go as follows:

Children/Seniors - $30.99, or if purchased 3 days in advance, $28.99
Adult - $36.99, or if purchased 3 days in advance, $33.99

So is it cause you get a discount or can the rest of us buy them online at that price too?

And just to let everyone know we are going on Saturday the 29th.

Nah, I don't get any special discounts aside from the fact that I already have my ticket, since we purchased season passes as soon as we moved out here - the prices quoted (aside from the group rates) are internet specials.... If we don't have enough folks for the group rates, then sure, everyone can purchase their own tickets online if they'd like (you have to have a printer, though); but if we have enough for the group, they've all got to be purchased together in order for the group rate to apply. I just suggested folks sending the funds if they felt comfortable enough for that because then the tickets would be in one central location, hence no one would accidentally leave their printout at home, and no one would have to actually wait in line to get a ticket the day of.

I say we wait till a week before until people start buying them then, but I don't think we'll have fifteen. Cross the fingers though.

Well, we've got about 8 or 9 already, maybe more if Galen brings some of his buddies...hubby and I DON'T count, unless we buy tickets for this, which we'll do if we need to to make the group.....

That's a lot of money!

How about next convention we have it in Hillsborough North Carolina!

We've got the famous, yet sexy Ayr Mount Park
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayr_Mount

Hillsborough, North Carolina, lets not forget-- was once the capital of North Carolina.

So, I'm lazy I guess.

Forty bucks a night for a hotel room is about as cheap as they come. Well, as cheap as you can get for a hotel people would be willing to stay at of course.
