That is just normal life in a totalitarian society.

The various companies that do business with China have been workling overtime to ignore the Chinese genocide and slave labor, but this is going to be hard to hide. In locking down the entire city of 28 million people they have ensnared far too many foreign journalists to keep it quiet.

And all of this in the name of "health".

There was a video back in 2020 of an old Chinese women who ended up fleeing China during the 2020 lockdowns.. I think she fled to Australia? She was telling her taxi driver about the makeshift hospital that CHina built during the fiorst wave. She said she could see it from her appartment. She said that the Chinese government was burning the bodies of the patients in the back of the hospital and many weren't dead yet.

Add that to the video after the dam burst last year and killed all those people in the subway, the person taking the video said that officials from the local hospital arived on the scene, removed the eyes of the dead (to sell the corneas) and left the dead and dying to fend for themselves.

Crazy.

I'm confused and looked back at what jmotivator wrote, Phys251. He did not use Chinese repression as a springboard to draw a comparison or attack COVID lockdowns, mask mandates or vaccinations in the United States on a partisan basis as some of my colleagues on the political right are wont to do here.

You would think this would serve as a useful tool for showing scale or a point of comparison, but nope! Conservatives see this or the actual Holocaust and think, “Totally the same as masks and vaccine mandates.”
