I am furious over this. These scumbag conservative republicans in an attempt to stop NA from voting all together passed a law where PO Boxes will not be valid on ID’s. The crazy thing, they just voted with these ID’s in June!

On October 9th, The USSC allowed the state to go ahead with clearly discriminatory act against NA.

Then we have Kemp in GA suppressing the votes in GA...while he is running for Gov. How it’s not mandatory to resign from your job that counts votes is beyond me!

The evil of conservatives is still almost shocking to me.

Soon they will make it that you names in your is can only be so many letters.

Don’t doubt me! They are EVIL!!!

If you announce you live on an Indian Reservation it should be granted. They never had a problem with it before until this particular senator was being supported by Native Americans such that attacking that support might throw the election to Republicans and now the issue of their residency as become an issue all of a sudden.

Screw Republicans they are evil they are the enemy of the people

They aren't. You're just without the mental capacity to validly debate the issues in the arena of ideas and find it's emotionally more rewarding and intellectually less taxing to play the race card. It's okay, it's a white flag of surrender on substance and when you're armed with nothing more than emotion you've marginalized yourself to the point no one needs to heed your words.

Ok wait. This was the corrupt state’s idea. So they put it without and remedy for these people.
If the US govt is not going to be delivering mail to people, how is that the people’s fault?

The remedy, which they had no intent of supplying, is the county these people live in should have created a street address for the reservation. All they need is one address....who care if 2000 people live there.

Also, how do they get around the PO Boxes places that give their address as the street and the box number as an suite/apt number?

My argument is the whole point. Residency must be proved. PO Boxes won't cut it.

I share your anger at such despicable behavior. Native Americans have experienced enough abuse in this country. The government has an obligation to give them an alternative before changing the requirement.

But let's not call these people evil. Let's just stick to crooked and corrupt. With Trump at the head it's a party of crooks and liars.

Scam? What scam, having a PO BOX? If the state legislature made these changes, its their obligation to provide a remedy, not the people who did not request it.

The attempt to prevent positive voter ID is the SCAM....and it's dead in the water.


N.Dakota Native Americans can EASILY obtain vialbe IDs, through the 911 system, by describing their locale, cell phone GPS data at 911, or via tribal leadership.

Or are they TOO STUPID/INCOMPETENT to accomplish that, as the left has been squawking about black Americans obtaining IDs for nearly 20 years?
 

Have you looked at Trump rallies and the repub convention? They're very white. Have you heard of the term "voter caging"? The repubs get caught doing it again and again. It's only the race card because being of the wrong (non-white) race is the criteria for earning attention by the republican dirty tricks department. Stop acting like calling right wingers racist is taboo. Just because you're offended by the truth doesn't make that truth less compelling.

I love how the current conservative strategy is to play the victim for being called out on their bigotry and elitism when their history is profoundly bigoted and elitist. What ever happened to the party of personal responsibility? All we get any more is denial and defensiveness with absolutely zero introspection or admission of who you've actually been, as a party.

Let me ask you, are you an earthling? How do you not know what's been happening for decades, things for which the Republican party has operated under injunction until recently.
