Conservatives lash out at the military over ‘woke’ policies

I see lots of tangmobable and not much else.

Why don't you tell us some more of your fictional military stories. Always good for a laugh.
Yet another Braindrain hit and run post.

You don't have time for this or interest in it.

The only reason you're pursuing Your Rightwing PutinTrump & Rowers Big Lie -- and in a long series of hit and run posts -- is that you're only obligated to do it. That is, you are a Rightwinger traitor against the Constitution of the United States.

Indeed, I reiterate you show zero knowledge of the U.S. armed forces, of the U.S. military force or life in it, or of what my honorable active duty military service was and continues to be till the day I die as an inclusive member of The Old Guard Association, TOGA, of veterans of the 3d Infantry Regiment The Old Guard of the Army only.

Your attempts at character assassination fail for numerous reasons that I've pointed out over many threads encompassing many years, yet they fail entirely because you yourself have zero character. I've always defended the late John McCain against Putin's principal agent in the United States, the Potus Donald Trump.

This is a reunion of The Old Guard Association TOGA and The Old Guard currently itself at Conmy Hall at Ft. Myer outside Washington. TOGA marches in the rear with the current troops of TOG in the pass in review and we kept step perfectly. TOGA marches with our regiment colors as authorized by the Department of the Army...

More tangmobable and nonsense.
Sorry if you don't like your BS called out but I will continue to do so.
And I hate to tell you this but the old guard doesn't really impress me that much.
But then again ceremonial units never do.

TOGA huh? I was on TDY at the Pentagon years ago when a major storm hit. The powers that be... even some members of Congress... urged the Unknown Soldier guards to stay sheltered during the storm. They refused and stood their posts during one of the strongest storms ever recorded in the DC area. They never appeared in the media, never sought any special recognition... they just did their special jobs under the worst of conditions and drove on. An impressive display of dedication and professionalism.

That and $25 bucks will get you a coffee mocha at a Starbucks in New York City.

In the meantime you continue to pass on standing up against Donald Trump in respect of the late John McCain.

Plus you have yet to show any knowledge of anything military. All of your posts to me have been arbitrary declarative statements summarily issued that say nothing. So if you think you're a judge think again because you're a PutinTrumpRower and nothing else.

A sleeper of a traitor.

You have been asked repeatedly to quote me saying anything about trump that isn't negative and we both know you can't. So why bother telling lies.

There is one person in this thread who has proven to not know anything about the military. And it's you.

It's painfully obvious.

Specialist 4 Benny Higdon guards the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during blizzard in January 1964. Higdon continues to be regarded by The Old Guard as the ultimate Tomb Guard, the model to posterity. His photos are prominently displayed in The Old Guard Museum at Ft. Myer and in the Tomb Guard quarters under the ampitheater.

The badge of the Tomb Guard of the Unknown Soldier is the second least awarded badge in the U.S. Army. There are only several hundred of the super select group of volunteers who qualify.

Dedicated yes, but it's more like devoted. Nothing gets in their way.

A soldier placed flags for Memorial Day in a storm as an act of the normal strict discipline of the 3 reliefs of the Guards of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as The Old Guard does the select guard duty at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. In this video a Tomb Guard Soldier was seen placing American flags as winds howled and torrential rain fell in Arlington, Virginia. That same storm system produced tornadoes in Southern and Midwestern United States before it hit the East Coast.

On the Thursday before each Memorial Day the 3d Infantry Regiment The Old Guard of the Army places more than 250,000 American flags at each gravesite of Arlington National Cemetery. The weather is immaterial and it has nothing to do with it. For the Tomb Guards, one of whom places the American flag at each tomb of the Unknowns the weather is meaningless, a mild distraction at best that is easily overcome.

There is a tomb of an unknown soldier from WW I, WW II, Korea. Remains from the Vietnam War were forensically identifiable so there is no Unknown Soldier from the Vietnam War and since.

The junior most Tomb Guard places an American flag at each tomb no matter the weather or the circumstance. Indeed, if 9/11 had happened on the Thursday before Memorial Day the Tomb Guard would still have placed the flags although the Regiment would have mobilized. In fact on September 11, 2001 the Tomb Guards continued their duty to guard the Tomb. Indeed on President Kennedy's internment the Tomb Guards continued their duty as the Air Force flew over in the missing man formation followed by Air Force One.

Your every post is the same.

Vacuous.

As to the Tomb Guards they don't tolerate anything.

This guard chambers his single round when a jerk ducked under the rail to enter the Tomb Area.

Chased him off like he was a mutt.

You don't wanna mess with a 3rd Infantry Regiment Guard of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.

Your ideology is above country and fraternity.

Unless the country is Russia of course in which case your country Russia is everything.

If you served your posts to me would make you fratricidal toward U.S. armed forces personnel such as myself.

However you show no evidence of being in service now or in the past. Except perhaps that lifer nco Rightwingers make a ton of vacuous declaratory pronouncements along with summery conclusions as if no reasoning were required.

Treason and fratricide go hand in hand. They're mutually inclusive in fact.

Wow... you really do have a bug up your butt. I never went to Viet Nam. I did basic at Knox, a year at USMAPS then at Ft Belvoir, entered West Point and graduated in 75. I don't even REMEMBER being in my twenties. I'll be 70 my next birthday.
Actually, one thing you will learn in here after a while who most of the "Regular Players" are.

Most of us tend to be rather serious about the topics discussed, and discuss them in a serious tone. Oh, we may share "sea stories" or "war stories", and even poke fun at each other. But if you notice, it is almost always respectfully, in the manner of a Squid, Jarhead, Airhead, and Doggie sitting at the VFW over a few beers. I would guess that around half of the regular posters in the military section here are Veterans.

Then you have the political nuts. They normally know almost nothing about the military at all, and tend to come here to try and bash everybody around with their superior intellect and the fact they "know things" that those in the military are too stupid to understand. They may come in the way of the Far-Right, Far-Left, Far-Libertarian, Far-Communist, or almost any other political bend. And generally, most of us vets try to instruct them for a bit, then give it up as a lost cause.

And to be fair, there are a decent number who never served, but do have an interest in what we did and what equipment we worked with. Most of us enjoy the conversations with them, filling them in on things we know about our service, and they can vary from where all we had been, to comparing different things that say the US and Russia use, or the US and China.

Then, you have the fakers. One of them you see is a serial poster. Watch him long enough, and he always says the same things over and over again. Always blasts anybody who he sees is a Conservative, served as an NCO, or does not attack the Republicans on every third post as he does. And his "stories" simply make no sense, along with his statements.

He feels absolute disgust at the NCO Corps, an attitude I have never seen from an Officer in over 24 years of service (service in 2 different branches, and conducted with all 4 branches of service). He loves Draftees, and considers anybody that actually joined to be an idiot. I simply do not believe he served, because I have never heard of a brand new Boot Louie spending their entire tour at an Honor Unit. Especially for officers in the Vietnam era. Those are normally only given to Mustangs who have risen through the ranks (say an 11B Staff Sergeant that became an 11A and already knows how to run a platoon in the field), or more senior Lieutenants getting ready to move to Railroad Tracks. Not brand new Second Lieutenants that need to learn how to run a platoon in the field with the rest of his Company before learning how to put a spit shine on brass and leather.

Most of us tend to ignore or mock him. Because every other post is so political, it has almost nothing to do with the topic.

I was a SP4. I was told I had no NCO potential... so they made me an Officer.

You have your views that are not definitive of the website. Some will share your views more or less, others will disagree more or less while others will only feel a strong hot wind against their face to include drops of moisture.

This is your standard issue American Right anti intellectualism and the only thing missing from it is them thar liberal college perfessers.

You haven't any clue of how The Old Guard of the Army works or is structured and organized to manage its personnel and mission. No clue of professional drill & ceremony; professional marching and maneuvering.

We do Army military funerals that you dismiss with fratricidal disrespect. Army drill team; guards at the Tomb of the Unknowns; Inaugural parades and official state funerals such as that for Potus Kennedy, Ike, Reagan among others. And so on. It's an elite select all volunteer unit that requires The Old Guard body and look, intellect, attitude, skill, talent, discipline, pride and honor.

Reading your posts hardly anyone has served and hardly anyone knows anything no matter the topic, as is demonstrated by this fratricidal screed of a post. You've taken it upon yourself to initiate and conduct a fratricidal campaign over years. It is indeed characteristic of the far out American Right that has three defining characteristics. You never quit, you are committed absolutely to the triumph of the will and you rely entirely on The Big Lie.

Carry on.
