Yeah, we have about a third of a billion people.

Shouldn't take more than a dozen to administrate it, right?
It's never reality influenced.... what they "think" is their flirtation with reality.

We just want the facts to influence their opinions, but by all indications, it isn't even a close call.

"...But on Thursday, Politico turned the newsletter over to Shapiro, who used the space for a column making the case that the House Republicans who voted against impeaching Trump—despite his repeated lies about the 2020 election and his stoking of rioters who stormed the Capitol in his name last week—are right to feel aggrieved.

“If you supported Trump in any way, you were at least partially culpable, the argument goes. It’s not just Trump who deserves vitriol—it’s all 74 million people who voted for him,” Shapiro wrote, further claiming, “Opposition to impeachment comes from a deep and abiding conservative belief that members of the opposing political tribe want their destruction, not simply to punish Trump for his behavior.”

Shapiro’s guest appearance was not particularly well-received..."

Alright. You cited Ben Shapiro's C.V., post. Overall fairly boilerplate mainstream American conservative positions, and you add the fact that he is ardently pro-Israel.

Do you have anything to add or do you believe his positions are so outrageous that they speak for themselves?
Easy question, what sort of leader would someone reasonably described like this, because of what he has said, done, and written and
because of who he was worked for, with and been associated with, be, to reasonable people?

"Several staffers expressed dismay over handing the keys to the outlet’s influential newsletter product to a pundit with a “long history of bigoted and incendiary commentary.”

....

Shapiro asked Neil -- who once was a researcher for Britain's Conservative Party and now chairs the group that operates conservative magazine The Spectator -- why he would not "just say that you're on the left."

There is no such thing as a moderate or a centrist, since there is no agreement on what that actually means. In American politics, it's generally assumed that a moderate is a status quo corporatist. However, Joe Manchin is considered a moderate, and he's actually to the right of many conservatives and is arguably the most corrupt member of Congress.

Conservatives love Joe Manchin because they love corruption. The more corrupt you are in politics, the more support you have from the right-wing. There is no way around around this fact. Lining your own pocket by ripping off the American people you supposedly serve is considered 'being smart'. See Trump and Rick Scott for more examples.
Righties love Maserati Joe because he blocked legislation to help American Families, he's also the protector of the device for minority rule, the filibuster. Besides that they hate him. He may be the most corrupt D, but not the most corrupt Senator.

There is no Conservative movement.
There is a conservative movement, but that is something completely different.
One is a political framework, the other is an adjective.

I agree with you that Shapiro is a boilerplate conservative, which is extreme to the nth degree. Even a casual reading of his Wikipedia page would tell you that.

Among the leaders of the Conservative Movement:

Donald Trump
Steve Bannon
Nick Fuentes
Tucker Carlson
Alex Jones

Conservatism is a methodology, not an outcome.

More to the absurdity of the argument put forward in this OP, the people one your list aren't even all the same ideologically, that are just random boogeymen pulled from the progressive zeitgeist.

I'm going to ignore your bad-faith disingenuous question save to point out that simply being right-wing does not make one conservative.

They are generally synonymous.

right wing

1. members of a conservative or reactionary political party, or those opposing extensive political reform.
2. such a political party or a group of such parties.
3. that part of a political or social organization advocating a conservative or reactionary position:
