American history is American history and covering it up will not help anyone, but go ahead and be a bunch of ******s and make it impossible to buy a certain pattern on cloth. All it does is make you look like cowards though.
Nope, trying to erase history is never a good thing
Nobody said that. It will be in the museum right beside the equally racist and oppressive nazi flag. Such history should never be erased, but kept in a proper setting, so as not to repeat such nastiness.
It doesn't matter what thought process or motivation is behind the ambition to display the confederate war flag. African Americans were torn from their lives, shipped to America and forced to labor without compensation, and when they see that flag, it's a reminder of the sufferings of their ancestors oppression, it's hurtful, it's offensive and it's painful for black Americans. Out of consideration for that alone, that piece of **** should be pulled down!!!!!

Yea their fellow Africans shouldnt have sold them into slavery. When looking back was the best thing to happen to that race....they got a free ride to America and now their children live in the best country in the history of the world. They could still be living in ****ty Africa getting raped to death by lions with AIDS.
Stop talking forever.
Except the Confederates were the polar opposite of the Nazis. Complete polar opposite. General Lee even freed his slaves before the war began, as did Grant, well freed his one guy anyway. His wife sure as heck didn't. She kept hers because "good help was just too hard to find" as she is quoted as saying.
Spoken like a true "student" of revisionist history.
How about you start a petition online and let the free market work it out. If you don't like "commie" stuff being sold, demand that Amazon stop selling it. Create an outrage. There is a reason this is happening, its because people are no longer rolling over and allowing a racist symbol to exist. I would love for the same to be true about every disenfranchisement around the world, ever.
That's disgusting, really.
But Africans weren't selling their "fellow" Africans into slavery.....they were selling their "enemies" just like Greeks and Romans once did. It's estimated that well over 12 million blacks from Africa were sold into slavery in America in less than 400 years, which was so huge that it changed the genetic map of the world. So, I find it extremely hard to believe that Africans could've done that all on their own without the help of white slavers and their Trans Atlantic slave trade.Yea their fellow Africans shouldnt have sold them into slavery.
