The Obama administration pressure the legislative branch of the U.S. government to remove the Castro regime from the list of terror-sponsoring nations that pose a threat to the U.S. At the same time the Colombia police received a tip-off about the munitions on board of the Da Dan Xia ship, search it and found explosives and weapons bound for Cuba.

No it doesnt.

No it doesnt.

Truth is, I have not seen Cuba mentioned as supporting terrorists in some time. Sending weapons to North Korea is, however, assistance of a rogue state. I also believe to remember that they had sent weapons to Iran, but am no longer sure. Iran does support terrorists and other enemies of the US. They are very much like the Russians in that.

They should impound the boat and maybe auction it off. The captain should stand trial.

Cuba is a dummy destination, they're really going to New Hampshire for the revolution...

Ordinary Military supplies listed as grain products. If it is a “normal military trade co-operation” why hide it? “About 100 tons of powder, 2.6 million detonators, 99 projectiles and around 3,000 cannon shells were found", officials added.

China is constructing a canal across Nicaragua. It is necessary a second canal? It is really needed? I think that China is doing it for military and political reasons, to be able to ship all sorts of contraband, drugs and guns through it since it will be protected by the Chinese military.

The world has long figured out it can walk all over Obama. Its liberalism's sequelae...can we really be surprised?

Lolz at Obama's Cuba deal...appease them, fund them, and watch them arm up.

China already knows Obama isn't gonna do a thing. The sad part...they are right.

Colombia has no authority to effect international trade. There is no international ban on arms sales to Cuba.

The US has an embargo on trade with Cuba but that only effects US companies and individuals. That US embargo has no effect on the rest of the world.

Was it in international waters?
Was it legal in that country to ship this contraband to Cuba?
It is not quite true that US law does not affect third countries and their citizens, if they want to do business in the US or with US citizens and companies.

And what's wrong with that?

That's true. But the manifest should match what's in the hold.

Batista! He rises!!

It was in port in Columbia...does not make the transaction between China and Cuba illegal.

Whether the goods are contraband is your determination.

US laws has no effect on international trade between nations. The US applies pressure on it EU trading partners and Canada to go along with sanctions...but China is not in the EU and along with Russia has followed its own path in trade with Cuba.

No way the US would abide by Chinese law outside of Chinese territory and without an agreement or treaty.

I don't believe the transaction is illegal if it's executed according to legal and internationally recognized codes.

Good thing you are here to defend the commies, eh?

So what? Do you think Cuba is going to invade somewhere?

Good thing you are here to defend the commies, eh?

Commies? Really? Are you channelling Joe McCarthy? Must be what, 20? years since I saw that word in print.

The cubans and chinese are communists. Is this news?

Heheh! No, no, pretty sure I knew that.
Good to know you're vigilant against 'fellow travellers', too.

As I thought. The Columbians determined it was against their laws, therefore contraband and seized it. The rest has nothing to do with the price of cheese.
