As the world now enters into Cold War 2.0, will we now see countries from around the world taking sides? Will there be a new ideological competition?

The ideological competition is globalist liberalism against everyone else. USG’s enemies are moderate conservatives, Islamic theocrats, nominal Marxists, among others. They have no unifying principle other than defending their own sovereignty against Washington. This is what makes them, broadly speaking, the good guys. But it also puts them at a disadvantage; coordination is harder without a shared worldview.

I'd say the Marxists are now based in Washington, and looking to keep themselves entrenched there, under a One Party State. From there, they'll ensure that the rest of America is increasingly brought under their tight grip, through media control, through control over the Supreme Court, through taxation, through federalized control of elections, through social reprogramming including gender disambiguation, etc, etc.

I agree that the ideology of USG, whatever one wants to call it (wokism, internationalist liberalism, progressivism, etc.), is essentially a Marxist one, only substituting race and sexual identity for the class-obsession of Marxist-Leninists. When I mentioned "nominal Marxists" I was referring to those countries, such as China, which claim to be orthodox Marxist states.
