I agree that Cohen's got nothing and is not afraid of Trump and is more afraid of spending 3 years in Club fed. He will do or say anything or use any delaying tactic possible to get out of reputing for duty. I never claimed Trump was a saint. He was elected president with voters knowing that he was not a saint.

A guy I know who was an Enron energy trader was busted for what the feds termed a "gas diversion scheme" (basically, stealing nat gas and reselling it) to three years in a minimum security facility.

Murderers sometimes get sent to minimum security prisons.
I can't speculate as to why, but I wouldn't rule out the usefulness of such an inmate, for some powerful people.
