Jesus H. Christ! Michael Cohen, on behalf of Donald Trump, paid John Gauger, owner of RedFinch Solutions, LLC and CIO of Liberty University, some $12K to work some sort of digital wizardry to cause pre-election polls to favor Trump.
-- Poll-Rigging for Trump and Creating @WomenForCohen: One IT Firm’s Work Order

Per the WSJ story:
  • Gauger showed up at Trump Tower to collect $50,000 for having helped Michael Cohen, then Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, try to rig online polls in his boss’s favor before the presidential campaign.
  • The Trump Organization declined to comment.
  • When Cohen asked Trump Organization executives for a $130,000 reimbursement for a hush payment he made to Stormy Daniels, he also scrawled a handwritten note asking for $50,000 he said he spent on “tech services” to aid Trump’s campaign. (Court document assertion)
  • Trump's authorization of the reimbursement was made on the sole basis of a handwritten note from Mr. Cohen and paid largely out of Trump’s personal account.
The story of the unethical and/or illegal machinations Trump and his people undertook to bamboozle Americans into voting for Trump just gets more reprobate by the day. Moreover, Trumpkins' abject idiocy and naivete does so too. How the hell did the US "grow" multiple generations of such utter fools that a profligately dissembling degenerate like Trump could get nominated for POTUS, to say nothing of actually win the election?

So Trump paid people to rig polls. How do Trump supporters defend this? Can you imagine the outrage if Hillary had done this?

Perhaps this Democrat/Republican system is flawed, eh? Truthfully, voters held their respective noses and voted. Don't forget who was the other person voted against. When your candidates are two turds in a punch bowl, it's difficult as the relative merits are hard to weigh. In reality, Turd#2 did get 3 million more votes, ergo allusions to democracy are cinematic. Clinton worked to get us in to Libya and Syria and Trump is working to get us out while assuring that Climate Change/Global Warming will make such measures moot. IF it wasn't real, it would be hilarious.

There was pleanty of outrage when it was revealed that Hillary rigged the primary process so I'm not really sure what you're looking for?

These people are so naive. They are called "push polls" and have been a part of politics since the first poll was done. You have seen them on the internet, on donation pitches.. Do you... "yes", "yes", "yes"... on down the line.

The real question his how in the world a person can claim to be politically aware, and not be aware of push polls, an treat them as something sinister?

The actual crime is making otherwise intelligent people make fools of themselves.

You got any proof that she didn't do it? :lamo

Do you have proof that you didn't do it? You can't prove a negative.

So, when you can't find something to whataboutism about, you imagine something and ask us to prove it didn't happen.

Are you OK with Trump paying to create fake polls to mislead voters?

To say no to that, would be to say no to fake news. Free speech is complicated.

Trump did not pay for push poll advertising. He paid to rig existing online polls.

Gauger told the paper that Cohen asked him in early 2014 to help Trump score well in a CNBC online poll of business leaders and a 2015 Drudge Report poll of potential Republican candidates. Gauger's efforts for the CNBC poll were unsuccessful, according to the paper, and Trump ranked low in the Drudge Report poll.

Trump knew about this and paid for this. How do you get more crooked than this?

It does prove correct their claims that polls are rigged. Well, some polls....

Liberals expect Trump to proof that he didn't collude with the Russians. Since he can't disprove something that never happened, there is no way he can defend himself.

So...Cohen wasted his money, since it wasn't effective against the money that the various news organizations paid other people to rig polls in favor of Hillary.

That's why paying attention to polls is a stupid thing to do.

Not just Cohen. This is Cohen acting on behalf of Donald Trump to rig polls. Where is your evidence that other news organizations paid to rig polls?

You'll defend anything Trump does. It's pretty disturbing.

I'm beginning to sense that Cohen will be the laughing stock once he starts the House Oversight Committee hearing with Elijah Cummings as the head of that circus freak show while the MSM will try their hardest to sell Cohen as the poor schmuck who was forced to "do dirty deeds" for Trump.

The memes will be hilarious ... :lamo

Still, we all know already that his "rewards" will be a multi-million $$$ book deal ... (grin)

I have frequently shown that polls are rigged. Most of those polls are paid for by news organizations. Therefore, the news organizations paid for rigged polls.

We also have evidence of news organizations and individuals in news organizations working in concert with the Hillary campaign...against Trump.

But that stuff is okay, right? It's not against any laws, right?

But if someone does it for Trump and it's "OMG!!!"

Again, you're confused.

If I create a poll that's biased against Trump then it's up the viewer to decide if my methodology is correct or not. Maybe it is biased like some say Rasmussen polls are. There is nothing wrong with a poorly sampled skewed poll. But that's not what Trump and Cohen did.

Trump and Cohen paid someone to write a script that votes in existing online polls. So, if MSNBC has an online poll the script will vote in that poll like a real person making it appear that Trump has more support than he really does.

I hope you understand how that is completely different from what you describe.

In both cases, someone paid someone for bogus information. For you, it's okay for some to do, but not okay for others to do.

Cry me a river...

Wrong again.

Cohen didn't pay for bogus information. He paid to create fake voters in online polls. This is intentional fraud.

Your attempts to defend this are pathetic.
