I've mentioned in the past that I purchased some stocks in about the March-April time frame of 2020.

Original investment made in 3 different deposits to to my brokerage firm totaled to $3100. Stocks purchased? Auto Manufacturer, Airline and NASDAQ.

Election Day 2020: About $4458.

Biden takes office: $5159

Peak level May 28: About $6228.

Today: About $5046 falling over recent days.

Seems to be loosely reflecting the popularity of Biden. As more and more of the impacts of Biden's policies take hold, his fingerprints on the throat of my investment are producing more pain.

I understand that you are mad you lost money on your investments. Everybody has. But that does not excuse the extreme stupidity of trying to pretend the market plunge is about anything other than the war Russia just launched.

But then, this is DP, and we get Trumpists telling us that it's Biden's fault they stubbed their toe this morning.

That trajectory you were on was going to crash.

You should have sold high you could have made $1,200 and be in the same position, the question is, will it go lower?

The current drop is due to the Russian Ukrainian war. It will get worse before it gets better. Oil prices will jump,

Air craft manufacturing is going to take a hit as Russia and Ukraine are the second and third largest producers of titanium, Kazakhstan is 4 I believe. So Boeing and Airbus will take hits. So will the US airforce new jet production

Combined with already high inflation, interest rates will rise, another economic crisis in the next few months is likely. Where to put money is difficult to say. High interest rates will hurt the property values, cash will be hurt by inflation

In other words, Biden inflated your investment beyond all your dreams, and you didn’t sell when you should have.

Of course, you know Biden is going to be good to you in the future, so you’re still holding on to the stocks.

I made so damn much money in the stock market after Biden took office that it raised muni come taxes too damn much.

Not particularly mad. Just interested. This money was/is just money I could lose. In march 2020 wen I started this little experiment, i mentioned in this forum. This was just an update.

The war in Ukraine started recently. Long after Trump left office. Seems odd that Putin waited so long to invade.

Unless we look at reality. Looking at the real world, what happened, what followed and when and why, the veil lifts.

You, know? I considered that, but I'm certainly no stock market whiz kid. I'm pretty sure that the market, and my $6200, will return again. Of course, I could be wrong.

Always the optimist. When my little portfolio peeked over the $6200 level and looked me in the eye, I thought, "Wow! This is looking like it's going to get even bigger!"

Like Adam the first time he saw Eve in the Garden of Eden. Inna Gada Da Vida for Iron Butterfly fans. ;)

They are. He made money under Biden, and obviously still is confident that Biden will make him even more money since he isn’t selling his positions.

He just is too partisan to recognize it, but I think we all know that actions speak louder than empty words.
