More proof that the conspiracy theorists on the Left are just as stupid and bonkers as the ones on the Right. But the difference here is that Leftwing CT’s almost never get called out by the (Democrat) MSM for their lunacy like the ones on the Right do. I had to share this piece from Fox News because it was almost the only media outlet that reported on it. If the Leftist Toure had been a Conservative, his idiotic statements would have received wall-to-wall coverage.

Seriously, the equivalent conspiracies of the right are brought up constantly on FoxNews and other conservative sources and it never "devolves into chaos" or is corrected by the host, it is just treated as legitimate and normal. OP disproves his own point.

Maybe if he actually watched/read CNN instead of reading what FoxNews and other conservative media self-servingly say about the "mainstream media" (i.e. legitimate journalism) he'd have a more objective view.

Fox is mainstream media.
 
He was literally called out by another panellist and the moderator directly contradicted his suggestion and moved on. That's just what happens when you have proper panel discussions with people who have differing political opinions or views and are free to express them rather than a set of people chosen to read from the same political hymn sheet. People offering wild theories tend to get wider coverage when they're broadcast without any real challenge or question.
 
Any chance that you could own the left more powerfully in the future? Donald gave you a simple task to humiliate the left, and the last thing he expected was a self-own like this thread. Remember your place: Donald orders you to own the leftist filth, and your job is to follow his orders. In the future, please consider sticking to the basics like Hunter Biden, Sleepy Joe and add some Obama stuff for flavor. Worst come to worst, simply post the Fox link and minimize any personal commentary.
 
The conspiracy theorists on the MAGA side put the CT in the WH. That's a notable difference. When a CNN commentator runs for POTUS and wins, then you'll have a point.
 
There was a short period of time where I too thought it 'MAY' have been a set-up. After careful consideration and the fact that Trump supporters were shot changed my mind. Everyone may not be a sharp.

One person does not suddenly make 'the left' like the right. That's a propaganda false claim, and the sort someone with a delusion of partisanship might jump to.

Wrong again. And for what it's worth, it's extremely worth asking if it was staged, as the motive and trump's character are strongly aligned with the 'conspiracy theory' - it's just the answer IMO is that it was not staged. That person would be wrong to suggest otherwise - but it's not comparable to crazy bizarre things like 'Pizzagate' or Birthersm. trump pushed Birtherism, not a random person.

Democrats don’t codify their base’s CTs into law though like the GOP attempts to.

Anyone with any sense should have considered the possibility, given how much it fit trump's benefit, and trump's character to do something like that. But then you look at it and it's clear IMO it was a real event.

I don't think that proves anything at all. I think trump would sacrifice his supporters for it. What I found more convincing included not the people killed and wounded as proof they wouldn't do it, but proof the bullets were real.

But what about the idea of shooting into the crowd making sure they didn't hit trump? That's a bit more dodgy - and would need the Secret Service likely 'in' on the plot which is not very plausible - while trump could have had a small razor and grabbed his ear for a cut, the bullet angles and even an amazing photo from an indepndent journalist showing a bullet by trump's head are convincing evidence.

So the issue becomes not what happened, but the politics, which include an undeserved surge of support for trump, his backers strengthening their support, and exploiting the few people who argue for a conspiracy theory as somehow representing 'the left' and exploiting that politically, as we see in the OP and on Fox.
 
CT is mostly a conservative thing. Not too many people on the left that are into CT. KEYWORDS here: NOT TOO MANY

When the left supports a CT, there's a good chance it's correct. Project 2025, trump massively cutting the government, just a conspiracy theory, they claimed, for example. Clarence Thomas being a corrupt recipient of right-wing huge gifts, conspiracy theory... etc.

When the assassination attempt happened, many Democrats that I know either said they thought the incident was staged to help Trump in the election or that it was at least a possibility. You had Democrat commentators and even Democrat politicians saying the same thing.
