They take a partial truth, such as the border detentions, and intentionally omit certain pertinent facts such as the fact that separations were for people crossing ILLEGALLY, not as part of the standard process.

Nick Sandmann was a joy to listen to last night. His appearance has changed and has grown into a fine young man. He gave a compelling speech pointing out the cancel culture. A very dangerous thing that is occurring that goes after people personally that do not fit with the agenda of the left. Sorry but I have no more sympathy for sandman than I did for hogg. I think its inappropriate to give children a national platform but if they accept it, they also accept the political attacks that come with the territory.
Its sad that both sides are willing to steal children's innocence to score political points.
