Yes, that's almost a certainty. But Reagan didn't "handle" it. He benefitted from the optics of it.

Your really clutching at straws now, Reagan didn't have to handle it, just the assumption of what he would do after being sworn in released the hostages, as they knew Carter was a weak President and would do nothing

many polls try to persuade and the clue is if they put sc and tx in the pink .. then you know the rest of the poll is a fraud to push for that result

RCP isn't a push poll. Trump isn't conservative.

TX and SC being in the pink on Trump makes perfect sense. Both states have huge Clinton support in their Hispanic and Black communities. TX has four urban areas and a line along the border that are always deep blue. SC has a lot of Black voters. If white Christian conservatives are voting Johnson, writing in Cruz or simply staying home, the pink may even turn blue.

wrong... look at the primaries to see how liberals have no chance in those states.. not for a few more years until the minority pop catches up to the whites and that is the reason 30 conservativc states will push to secede if hillary wins.. they have to before the minority pop catches up and then no wisdom tests for voters can come in.... so its now or never.. and if never the conservatives with the onservatives of europe will flee to canada to make it change to conservative and become the next great empire while the liberal nations falls into destruction

Lol...what makes you think the whites in those state would pass the IQ test? I certainly don't see more than 20% of them being capable of finding their ass with both hands.

The State where he lost to Ted Cruz by a 12% margin ? And yes, 2014 was a referendum on the Democrats and Obama's disastrous policies.

Wendy Davis was forced to do the same thing every other Democrat candidate was forced to do. Run a empty campaign that focused on indentity politics and pandering

She sure couldn't run on ObamaCare, or the economy, or on foreign policy or anything substantive that related to Obama's Presidency

Well she lost anyway......badly. Pandering and divisive identity politics only appeals to the low information voter and Texans weren't having any of it.

the popular rich perry and the popular current governor both endorsed trump strongly.... trumps voters of tn and ga same exactly as texans voters since it was the tennesse guys coming to win texas over mexico .. trump carrying tn and ga will make him carry tx the same
