Clinton video spotlights Trump products made outside US

This from someone that sees Hillary as a good president?:lamo

Please point out where I have EVER said I thought she would be a good president or that I even support her? Lie much, coldjoint, me thinks I have the answer to that question already, but thanks for proving it to everyone else.

Why are you defending her then? Do you honestly think I have read every post, or want to, of yours? Nobody here is that important. Get over yourself.

I am not defending her, I am pointing out the facts and not a bunch of hyperbole and baseless claims as some do here. Then you should not ASSUME you know enough to make claims, but then again that is par for the course. Whatever, seems like you had had your say and have nothing else to add, go take a walk and relax.

My analogy: the US should sell Ferraris and leave the rest of the world to sell Tauruses? What's the US's market share when producing and selling the high-end goods?

Does this high-end production and manufacturing promote further manufacturing?

You need to actually check the corporate profits for US automakers and high-end foreign cars.

The foreign cars are substantially lower in volume, unlike US production.

US auto makers make insane profits on trucks and SUVs, and make substantially more money than "Ferrari".

That makes you 0 for 3.

Trump's clothing companies can't make profits with American labor because the cost is too high for his clothing companies to compete with the rest of the world.

Actually they can, but being a greedy prick, Trump chooses to make insane profits by paying 3rd world countries cents per hour for production.

With those severely reduced 3rd world labor cost levels, nobody can compete against them.

Trump manufactures there because he can get away with it, and does not care about supporting US production

Now 0 for 4.

It has been investigated and reported that all of Trumps campaign hats, etc., are Made in the USA.

Make America Great With Political Swag: Presidential Hopeful Merchandise Mostly Made In The USA

The fact that hotels and resorts use typical channels of supply for items like shirts etc., only points to the need to address trade deals that have decimated the US clothing industry along with others.

Trump is putting it on the table, while Clinton pays lip service in hopes her record on the issue won't be discussed.

BTW, it's the foundation of freedom in the United States that any business can pursue insane profits legally. It is the laughable argument of those who don't get it, that such a pursuit is wrong.

I agree. It's equally laughable that those who don't wish for businesses to make as much profit as they can want workers to make as much money as they can. Instead of allocating resources with the will of people in mind, allocating resources to make things 'fair'. Sidenote: 'Fair' by whose standards, anyway? Government's? Are those standards prosecuted equally across the board? NO.

This is the debate between capitalism and socialism or communism.

America's allocation system is currently a combination of capitalism and socialism. IMO when things are strictly allocated via capitalism, things can sometimes get wonky. Capitalism is the most efficient way to allocate goods, though.

Donald Trump sells products made in China and is campaigning on an anti-China whine.
Donald Trump hires illegal aliens while he campaigns on an anti-immigrant whine.
Donald Trump hires foreigners with H-1b visas, and says he won't stop to forced to, while he campaigns on hiring Americans first.

Donald Trump is a liar, a huckster, a deadbeat, and a liberal and we can safely add, hypocrite.
