On an interview with David Plouffe, Hillary Clinton said this: "I'm not making any predictions but I think they've got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She's the favorite of the Russians.”

Later, when asked to clarify if she was referring to Tulsi Gabbard, Clinton’s spokesperson said, “If the nesting doll fits. This is not some outlandish claim. This is reality.”

This is speculation, of course, but I find this scenario entirely plausible. This is precisely what the Russians would do to guarantee four more years of a world without stability, American leadership, and the furtherment of democracy in global decline.

Here's why your OP is all wrong:

- Tulsi is currently polling at 0% among registered Democrats.

- She way more popular with disenfranchised Trump voters and the far left then she is with mainstream Dems.

- If she ran third party, Tulsi would receive votes from former Trump voters, which would help Biden or Warren, or whoever the D candidate is. The Russians certainly aren't as confused about this as Americans are.

Hillary Clinton is still a lying shrew. She's just the latest Democratic hack to mislabel Tulsi as a Russian asset because she scares the pants off you guys.

As you said, “...and the far left.” That siphons votes from the Democratic candidate. And really, you don’t need to siphon a lot from that candidate. Trump won by just 80,000 votes in three states. If he pulled that off again, say, with a third party candidate, then there’s no reason that couldn’t happen again.

As for zero support, that’s objectively not true in light of the fact that out of a total of 18 candidates, she still managed to qualify for the debate on Tuesday.

Also, it’s doubtful that trump supporters would vote for her. They like her, but not because they would vote for her.

To reiterate, this is entirely speculation, but as speculation goes, it’s quite plausible.
