Here's the real and increasing dilemma for the Democratic Party: When to throw Hillary's polyester pantsuited, double wide keister off the campaign train. With Judicial Watch gaining favorable ruling and now with Abedin having been summoned to testify under oath to the FBI, the Clinton heretofore claimed all about nothing is in fact all about something.

Will Hillary be summoned to face FBI questions? You damn skippy. It is going to happen. And then there's the JW investigation that has been allowed to move forward as determined by a district court judge.

It could be argued that Hillary is moving closer to indictment than she was even a week or two ago. As distasteful as it may be imagine for a moment that you are a member of the Democratic inner circler (jerk). Are you now as willing as ever to put all your money on Hillary to beat Trump? Forget about the fact that Hillary is going to lose support once - if - the mainstream media covers the events in full. Suppose she is indicted or her guilt comes into reasonable suspicion prior to the Democratic Convention in late July. It would likely cost her the nomination. At some point you'd be better served adding all your support to the Sanders' momentum. That's one issue.

Suppose Hillary wins the Democratic nomination and prior to the general election is indicted. In that scenario Trump would win the general election hands down.

Bernie appears to be able to beat Trump, Hillary not so much. With Hillary's history of lack of ethics, character flaws and tragic judgement increasingly getting in her way the Democratic Party may soon have to decide to throw their full support behind Bernie who looks to be a good bet to beat Trump or to risk losing the election by supporting a seriously flawed candidate who looks more and more like a loser.

If Hillary is indicted after the convention it's all but over for her and for the Democratic Party.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI has interviewed Huma Abedin, a close aide to Hillary Clinton, as part of a federal investigation into Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state, a person familiar with the probe said Thursday. The person insisted on anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

Boy would it be something to see it happen, Bernie ending up the nominee after all that's happened. Here's for hoping.

I'm not convinced that Hillary will lose much support even if indicted. Her supporters are totally convinced that not only is there no "there" there but that everything to this point has been a carefully orchestrated political campaign by the GOP (who is smart enough to organize such a campaign but also so stupid that Trump is their nominee:confused:)

Both parties seem to have been caught by surprise this election cycle. Will Bernie supporters cross over to Trump - they had a choice and went with Bernie, not Hillary, and I saw a lot of women at those rallies!

There was a HUGE move away from the establishment in both parties this year so it will be interesting to see where things end up. All the numbers say that Hillary is unbeatable but Sanders must have made one heck of an impression on her and Trump has blown away every prediction by those in the know. He really could win it all though if he does I still don't know what that means.

On the GOP side we've been seeing this trend for a while with Ron Paul and even the support Sarah Palin had so it seems to me that if the GOP really did a little (any) soul searching they'd figure out that "business as usual" is really unpopular. Maybe they'll finally turn over a new leaf and start playing some offense for a change.

And the latest from Judicial Watch:

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released new State Department emails (one batch of 103 pages, the second of 138 pages) that again appear to contradict statements by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department and that she did not use her clintonemail.com system until March 18, 2009.

Judicial Watch recently released Clinton State Department emails dating from February 2009 that also call into question her statements about her emails.

The documents were obtained by Judicial Watch in response a court order in a May 5,2015, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against the State Department, after it failed to respond to a March 18 FOIA request (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684)). The lawsuit seeks:

Emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-“state.gov” email address.

If she is indicted and the Dems don't take her off the ticket then the Dems can forget about the Bernie supporters.

I would guess that if that happens the Democrats will by and large forget about the future of the Democratic Party. It's getting closer to that anyway. IMHO Hillary has just about trashed the Democratic Party during this campaign. Hillary and her people, such as Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, have continued to screw over Democrat voters and Democratic partisan at national and state levels. The abuse in the name of Hillary is going to leave a bad taste in the mouths of all but the most willfully ignorant partisans.

Absolutely..

Not according to the polls. Only about 13% of Bernie people would consider jumping over to Trump.

“Polling shows little evidence that Trump has a shot to win large pockets of Sanders voters in November, should Clinton maintain her lead and win the Democratic nomination. Among Democratic-leaning voters who … prefer Sanders to win the party nod, only 13 percent have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 86 unfavorable, according to a Washington Post-ABC News national poll earlier this month.”

If these numbers are correct, any substantial Trump-Sanders coalition is a nonstarter.

IMO even if she's not indicted she's screwed.

Trump, if he has any sense at all will remind voters on a daily basis that this corrupt establishment Politican just got way with something that would have landed the average American in prison

I dont know why the Dem establishment supports her at all.
