Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump has withered to 3 percentage points, signaling their battle for the White House has become too close to call heading into the two major-party national conventions, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.

Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, now leads Trump by 42 to 39 percent in a head-to-head matchup. While Republicans and Democrats are solidly behind their candidates, independents are divided, 36 percent for Clinton, 33 percent for Trump – and 23 percent undecided.

Good news? Bad news?
Thoughts?

Seems to me all the people stating the polls were right before will say they don't matter now, and the people saying they didn't matter prior will say they now are accurate.

I think this will be a close race.

IMO the votes cast against a candidate will out number those who really support a candidate. As time goes on these two prove neither is qualified I think the race will get closer and closer as more people take the anyone but approach.

Clinton will return to a solid lead as the norms set back in: Clinton's server issue will take a backseat to Trump's daily horror show.

It's time for BLM to offer up their own third party candidate, since neither party is representing their plight.

I have no problem with that. Cliven Bundy and his gang can do the same.
