"If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're going to have to take what they get," the 82-year-old star told Extra earlier this week about his now-infamous August 30 Republican National Convention appearance, during which he addressed an invisible Barack Obama "seated" next to him."
The Democrats who were watching thought I was going senile. And the Republicans knew I was!"
Eastwood also seized the opportunity to clarify his political views -- he's not a Republican or a Democrat, but a Libertarian.

I was afraid Clint lost his marbles when he was having a discussion with an empty chair. Now I just think he was having some fun.....

What prime time unscripted and not pre-approved speeches did Democrats allow anyone to make?
Control freak national Democrats. They are destroying local and state Democratic officeholders.
With the rabid support of Obama by 80% of the media and press, Obama my well be re-elected, but at the cost of 10,000 local, county and state Democrat positions and officials.
Why post a poll that is just a declaration that you're a political partisan hack trying and failing to be clever on an old topic?
Clint Eastwood saying "when someone hasn't got the job done for 4 years its time to let him go" was a definite plus.
Well... I doubt very much they knew what they were in for, that's for sure. At the time it probably seemed like a good idea (he's famous, well liked, and universally respected as an artist), and hindsight is, as they say, 20/20. In general I really doubt his appearance will do any real harm to Romney's chances. The people who already hate Romney have been mocking Clint since this happened. The people who like Romney (or feel obligated to vote for him because they hate Obama) aren't going to change their minds because a crazy old man made a fool of himself onstage. All in all, this just isn't all that important. It's funny, but it's not important.
President Barack Obama said he wasn't offended by Clint Eastwood's antics at the 2012 Republican National Convention.
"One thing about being president or running for president -- if you're easily offended, you should probably choose another profession," Obama told the newspaper, adding that he is a "huge fan" of the film legend.

They kicked Democrats asses in the last election season and locally here the Democrats could not even put up a candidate for most positions, where before Obama the offices were half held by Democrats and half by Republicans. This is the first time in over 100 years Democrats could not even find someone to run, let alone win the election.
Yep. He went Gran Torino on their asses. He's still got it.Get real bud I think this is hilarious. Eastwood got one over everyone and this is note worthy.

I would vote for Clint Eastwood. Unfortunately the republicans would never put someone up that would fight for what they believe in, and sais what they think."If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're going to have to take what they get," the 82-year-old star told Extra earlier this week about his now-infamous August 30 Republican National Convention appearance, during which he addressed an invisible Barack Obama "seated" next to him."

Is half the country really crippled and sick enough to need support?
