No links yet, but Trump is currently watching CNN where Cliff Sims is doing interview rounds for his book (he was on Colbert last night.) Trump tweets his usual crap:
A low level staffer that I hardly knew named Cliff Sims wrote yet another boring book based on made up stories and fiction. He pretended to be an insider when in fact he was nothing more than a gofer. He signed a non-disclosure agreement. He is a mess!

Cliff Sims responds on CNN by saying
"nice . . . there it is."

Another Trump barista! He sure does have a lot of them around.

It's weird he love people on TV, but not when they used to work for him, come out of the woodwork, and then get their 15 mins...

I like how Trump admitted that he got his WH staffers to sign NDAs.

He only hires the best people! :lamo

A former WH Official was just quoted as saying that if Trump didn't tweet about the book, it would be out of the news cycle by Weds. Trump tweeted about the book ten hours after that quote...Now it's shooting up Amazon's list.

Which would be comically unenforceable, right?

As I understand it, the only part of an nda that would be enforceable is anything that happened during the campaign; not during the administration.

A pattern to note.

First, he moves to say one of these books is all lies, fiction, etc. In that case, nothing was disclosed because it was not real.

But then, he goes to threaten lawsuits over violations of non-disclosure agreements. By doing that, he confirms that something(s) in the book actually did happen, because that's the only way the words in the book could disclose something.

Dude regularly talks himself in a circle and doesn't have the attention span to realize he's just walked into his own ass.

Some people are extremely slow to learn how criticizing a tell-all book (while simultaneously confirming it) works.
