I know that. However, the statute you are citing pertains to national defense documents. We have no idea if any of the documents relate to national defense only that they were classified which is why, as I stated, the only statute that applies at this point is the Unauthorized Removal and Retention of classified documents which requires knowledge and intent NOT gross negligence.
I am not going to discuss this further with you if you continue to claim a statute related to national defense documents applies in a case where we have zero ideas what type documents are involved.

A person can be found negligent even when they are unaware or lack an excuse for a crime being committed. I argue Biden did not take reasonable care of documents in his custody.
