John McCain is leading the filibuster against the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” “repeal” legislation in the Senate (it’s not an actual repeal, but we’ll leave that for another time). Today, Cindy McCain joined a number of celebrities in a video about gay youth suicide and bullying. Mrs. McCain’s part of the video condemned DADT and then accused our government of sending bullies a message that what they do is okay.

Damn John's wife has some serious balls.

Oh snap! Poor Mrs. McCain could not get away with it.

Cindy McCain Reverses Course On 'Don't Ask said:
Cindy McCain has apparently sharply reversed course on her position on the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in the span of just several days. Having blasted the policy that bars gays from openly serving in the military on Wednesday, the wife of Senator McCain now says she supports her husband's stance on the issue.

On November 10, Cindy McCain appeared in an ad for the NOH8 campaign, an organization formed as a response to California's Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in the state. In the video, McCain says that "our political and religious leaders tell LGBT youth that they have no future." Later, she adds that "they can't serve our country openly."

On Friday, however, Cindy McCain clarified her stance, tweeting that she supports her husband's position on DADT. "I fully support the NOH8 campaign and all it stands for and am proud to be a part of it. But I stand by my husband's stance on DADT."

Don't ask me how she can support repeal of DADT and be against it at the same time.

I think it's more that she supports his stance, in the sense that she supports him.

Why can't married people disagree, even strongly, with each others positions on a given issue? Who cares if he is a sitting senator? They are individuals, with their own minds, emotions, opinions, etc. IF her having a different opinion than him on this issue offends some people, well, that's really on them. McCain himself doen't seem to mind. Why should we?

And if someone here said they hoped Obama had a heart attack and died, you'd be all over them like white on rice. Typical liberal.

Ooooh, we get to find one jackass comment and label the entire opposition based on what they said? Sweet, this game will be fun!
