The chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee today accused the CIA of inappropriately searching the committee's computers as the panel investigated the CIA's detention and interrogation program.
Speaking on the Senate floor, Sen. Dianne Feinstein said CIA Director John Brennan told her in January that agency personnel searched the computers because of a belief that the panel might have had access to an internal review of the matter.
"The CIA did not ask the committee or its staff if the committee had access to the internal review or how we obtained it. Instead, the CIA just went and searched the committee's computer," she said. "... I have grave concerns that the CIA search may have ... violated the separation of powers principles embodied in the United States Constitution."

But everyone knows you hate Dianne Fienstein even more.
Hypocrite bitching about violating the Constitution! :lamo How about you and the 2nd Amendment, bitch? Nevertheless I agree with her on this one point.
Come on Moot: "what difference does it make"
Some one send her out to dinner with hilda - no one died her computers were hacked. Really 'what difference does it make"
More than you understand the constitution.
What difference does it make? Why bother? Whatever. Your thread is off to great start. lol
Behind The Fight: Why The Senate and CIA Are Feuding
A political firestorm erupted in Washington on Tuesday when a key lawmaker took to the Senate floor to accuse the nation’s top spy agency of possibly breaking the law and violating the U.S. Constitution.
On one side, the Democratic chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, who alleges that the CIA has been spying on her panel. On the other, CIA Director John Brennan, who insists that the agency didn’t snoop or attempt to intimidate the committee.
There’s been a lot of back-and-forth over her accusations. Here’s a look at what’s behind this brouhaha and what happens next.
What’s at the root of this battle?
Starting in 2009, the Intelligence Committee began a three-year investigation of the Bush-era CIA program (2002 to 2006) which used harsh or “enhanced” techniques, or, as some have charged, torture, for interrogating al-Qaida terrorist suspects.
"Let me say up front that I come to the Senate floor reluctantly. Since January 15, 2014, when I was informed of the CIA search of this committee’s network, I've been trying to resolve this dispute in a discreet and respectful way. I have not commented in response to media requests for additional information on this matter; however, the increasing amount of inaccurate information circulating now cannot be allowed to stand unanswered." (Feinstein)
In other words, she felt that the spies were leaking false information to nail her and her staffers. So she was upping the ante by taking this dispute out of the shadows.
I'm not inclined to believe that NBC News can provide any insight at all. Yes, it can and does routinely provide propaganda favorable to the government, but that's about it.
I fail to see any problem with this report. Was all in all pretty unbiased and voiced both sides opinions..
