And if you have already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you cant effectively manage a campaign what gives anyone the idea that you will be able to do it the next time....This is one of the questions the D party should have been asking themselves about Hillary back in 2014 when she was demanding to run unopposed....when she was demanding party support for "her turn".

She of course did no better in 2016, and this time the consequences were more catastrophic than they were the time before.
