Christine O'Donnell claims she studied at Oxford

Then don't be disingenuous using the label "tea party" when you mean certain folk from the delaware tea party.

Oh you are being ridiculous and childish. She has garnered support from all over the nation and is on the national stage for the Tea Party and major supporters of the Tea Party have endorsed her either out right or by monetary contributions.

feel free to link it.

see folks, this is exactly what I am talking about. People want to attach the grass roots movement that is the tea party to every moonbat they can. Instead of talking about the three basic tenents of the tea party, lower taxes, smaller government, and more accountable reps, certain folks want to attack the teaparty with guilt by association clap trap.

well. If I am attached to odonnel, then these folks are attached to john wayne gacey.

Can you take your outrage to this thread as well, when it is the other side doing it?

I'm not sure what to make of that thread, but after you, right here.

I fully admit that O'Donnell does not represent the whole of the Tea Party or the Tea Party movement, nor have I claimed otherwise. I also agree that using O'Donnell's issues to attack the Tea Party as a whole is dishonest and not constructive political discussion. Just to be clear though, I never used O'Donnell's issues against the Tea Party.

I agree with right in that thread. what is it specifically you want me to look at. That thread kinda sucked.

Well they are giving her money:

Castle was backed by the national Republican Party, while O'Donnell received the endorsement of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as well as $150,000 in late funding from the Tea Party Express.
Tea Party favorites win GOP primaries in Delaware, New York - CNN.com

Now how much has Gacey gotten in contributions? And just how many prominent Democrats have supported his run for Congress?

The attempts to use the fact that DSA and the Communist party support the rally means Obama is a commy socialist. Also, note my refutation of Right's point in that thread.

"Gacy became active in Chicago's Democratic Party, first volunteering to clean the party offices where he offered the labor services of his PDM employees free of charge. He later offered the free usage of his vehicles to transport materials from one Democratic party meeting to another[47] and offered free decorating services to the party. Gacy was awarded for his services by being appointed to serve upon the Norwood Park Township street lighting committee.[48] He subsequently earned the title of precinct captain[7] for his tireless campaigning and fundraising for the Democrats."

The bottom line in Delaware is that a Sure win is now in all probability going to be a loss for the GOP, and that to me makes no sense. Castle is a known quantity who while opposite MANY Conservatives still WILL vote for a GOP leadership in the Senate IF they attain a majority. He also will not be a future embarasment. All in all this will not turn out Good for Republicans.

There is also Winston, Gerry Studds and Barney Frank..... no? :ssst:

oh and

Mel Reynolds

I think at least one of these folks was defended by left of center folk right here at DP.

And after all the stuff came out about him where is the support?

BTW Ted Bundy was a Republican

oh and here is another:

Dennis Rade (BTK Killer)

Dennis Rader, Wichita's BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill) Killer was elected dog catcher on the Republican ticket and was active in the party.

You are the one making guilt by association nonsense. I'm simply pointing out the flaw in your in your attempt to smear the tea party with guilt by association balderdash.... Did you lose track of the conversation my friend?

If Gacey were running for office on as a democrat you might have a point. O'Donnel is on the national stage and is supported by the Tea Party. Just ask Sarah Palin.

ted kennedy was a manslaughterer...

Sarah palin is not the tea party either.

why do you hate lower taxes, smaller government and more accountable representatives so much you want to slander an entire movement based on the actions of an individual. you completley glossed over my link where other tea partiers talk about her in a negative light. Why?
