Christians, did your pastor mention Charlie Kirk this Sunday? If not, will you be looking for a new church?

It seems the cult is not confined to Trump! Now, if your pastor does not mention Charlie Kirk, offer prayers or some such, then it's time to find a new one!

I know Charlie is somewhere in the 66 books of the Christian bible...

Politics is bad enough, but religion and politics mixed together is a bomb which has been lit with a very short fuse. Having a pastor not conformed to the world would be best, imo, but that's just me.

Christ stood for peace, love, and reconciliation through redemption. When given the chance to have earthly political power, he did not go for it on multiple occasions.

Be way of any preacher advocating for political outcomes. They are not following that model.

Cancel culture. Seems odd.

I wonder if the OP has ever out a video denouncing pastors who fail to give prayers for children slaughtered at school? I wonder if they have a moment of silence for those that don't conform to their gender or sexual stereotypes shot up in night clubs? Heck, I wonder if they would take the time to remind pastors to remember people killed in churches or synagogues or mosques? Heck, I wonder if she ever even thought about until CK's death? Probably not.

But lionizing a white Christian nationalist, yeah, she has time for that.

The OP is a he...
I was referring to the person in the video he posted.....But I see I worded that poorly.

The OP is a he, the Poster on X is a he, but the author of the video is a she and who I was referring too.

Gotcha...

Then there's this church:

And he's not wrong.
Pastor Howard John-Wesley of Alfred Street Baptist Church made not one mention regarding Biblical scripture.

Matthew 5:43-48

Love for Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

What does your Bible passage have to do with anything?

This man is speaking supposedly in a church sanctuary. This video appears to be dated Sept 14, 2025 -- which was a Sunday. He is standing on a pulpit behind a lectern with a choir behind him... The gentlemen apparently regards HIMSELF as a pastor. I don't know, what does the Bible have to do with anything ----- you tell me.

Some people are desperate for clicks, like this woman.

No, the passage you quote. What does it have to do with what he was saying?

Then there's this church:

And he's not wrong.

Both are wrong. Jesus > Politics.

Screwing that up is the major sickness I see in the American church today, and it's strangling our ability to focus on and serve the Kingdom

He poses as a pastor ------ is he practicing his Christian values and teaching them as a minister of GOD? See the video above!
What is not a Christian value in what he said?
