Chose An Age You Could Hold On To For Ten Years

I would like to be 40 for ten years. I was healthy and everything was as good as it could be. I enjoyed a fun social life and simply having fun. Work was good and basically I had very few complaints. Life was good!! Even 50 would be OK. Any age but a dumb teenager!!
 
You already nailed the perfect age in my book. The kids are grown or near grown and you've seen the wheel turn a few times, life is in perspective. The body hasn't yet begun it's major betrayals and in your chosen field you're near the top of your game. Good stage of life for sure.
