Why if you look at the F15 and Su 27 you see familiarity
The F35 and J 35 have similar stealth features as stealth and aerodynamics require it.
The J35 has 2 engines, F35 just one. The F35 has a fat middle, while the J35 is more slender. All due to the F35 requiring space for the marine version Vstol
