They're both kissing their cash, and so are ours.

@Litwin even if Russia fails in Ukraine (and they probably will), they’ll still have their nuclear arsenal.

If China launches a war of aggression to conquer Russian territory, they won’t have much of a leg to stand on to fry foul when Russia explodes tactical nuclear warheads over their advancing columns.

Regionalism. As in “wanting to be independent”. Not “wanting to be part of China”.

When the Finns allied with the Nazis did they do it because they loved Berlin or because they wanted to fight against the Soviets? The same applies.

Regionalism
TRY to say in Pootler´s Muscovy that you a separatist or organize a separatist organization ! Regionalism is a cod word for independence

Vladivostok has always been rather separate from Moscow's rule, even pre-1991...especially pre-1991.
Same goes for Siberia...Novosibirsk was host to some of the most brutal protests in the history of the USSR.

But I am not so sure China WANTS Siberia...taking Vladivostok would be advantageous for them but again, I doubt people in that region want to be "Chinese".
